thinking about insurrectionary anarchist/ancom in the anarchist polycule because he said that one (1) time "Anyways, this new guy seems great. Qui doesn't seem too cucked by quis ideas of a better world."

i just think about apocalyptic aus where insurrectionary finds/teams up with ancom. wandering broken hallways, overgrown cities, spraypainting crumbling ruins. they've all got a few screws loose. is it in an anarchist's nature to be violent? no, anpac disproves it, and has proven themselves capable enough to survive even in this world. but sometimes violence is required to smash hierarchies. and what happens when the violence gets turned on each other?

it's a violent love. a love of extremes but by someone who doesn't care about the world enough. ancom has a purpose, a sense of justice. insurrectionary is aimless, a wandering beast, ready to tear into something at any moment. a gilles de rais to joanne d'arc.

my goal is for my centricide to be almost unrecognizable from the canon. it will be at the same time, most out of character and most in character portrayals you will ever see. i want it to be divorced from jreg but intimately tied to his legacy. i want to see how far i can take a fucking FANFICTION OF A WEBSERIES.

this is all to say that i respect jreg a lot and i see centricide characters as cartoon characters not as him. so when i make them fuck it’s not weird they’re action figures.

Ancap is actually the smartest of the extremists. He does not see the world through the rose-tinted lens of the past or the future. His reality is not tainted by nostalgia or worse, hope. He sees through the present, presented with opportunities. What is a man to do but to take? The market is his playground, and everything is for sale. He can own the world if he wished, and one day he just might.

My headcanon is that most of the time their seating arrangement is in the permutation of Commie, Ancom, Ancap, and Authright. Because it is important to sometimes separate Ancom and Authright, and a Commie/Ancom/Ancap sandwich is real cute. Of course, they switch it up depending on their moods. Sometimes when Ancom wants something to bite on/stim with qui will go next to Blueman who will suffer it in a very interesting way. Ancap likes to cuddle with Authright but they’re pretty restrained in public. They might hold hands. Meanwhile Commie is a big lovely teddy bear. Everyone wants to sit next to Commie because who doesn’t want a strong arm over their shoulder during a scary movie?

Scary movie permutation: Ancap (he’s not scared), Ancom (very scared), Commie (cries at emotional scenes and sympathizes with the villain WAY too much), Authright (who pretends not to be scared and explains that ghosts are somehow some minority’s fault)

i don't have much to say about their overall dynamic. i'm very canon-compliant, y'know, although i do have some reserve. but i have to say, when i read fics, nothing get me better than some juicy evil blueman (or like, antagonist/anti-hero blueman? i'm not sure of the terminology here) and to have darker, more realist themes around the extremists and their platonic, romantic or intimate bond

Commie cooks because noone else knows how to cook a proper meal

Commie brings the stability in the relationship (calm and very loving), Ancap is the breadwinner (and is kinda the smartest), Authright gives them all a framework and makes the relationship go round (somehow) and Ancom brings the joy and fun of it all (with and without drugs)

Authright does the chores �� being very militarily formated, i guess he'd be house-proud (even if he is pretty hygiene-indulgent with himself and his room). for some time he asked Ancom to do it because "qui's not a 'man' so qui's a woman so qui gotta do the chores" but it didn't work and Ancom is too messy anyways

on the topic of Authright, he do be having emotional damage (daddy issues) and identity crises (being jew and gay). for that, he bottles up a lot but ends up getting a lot of help from Ancom

Ancap does have some trauma too! but he's too good at façade-ing and playing pretend so the others barely notice anything (except Commie a bit but he's waiting for Ancap to come to him on his own terms)

also, Authright prefers 1-on-1 dates/going outs and hates public display of affection even in their house

on the other hand, Ancap and Commie yearn for signs of affection (they got an arrangement to surprise each other so that they don't yearn too much)

Commie got the biggest bed so all the pyjama parties are done there (otherwise they all sleep in their own bed)

each xmas, Commie offers Das Kapital to Ancom as a running gag tradition

Ancom tried to have pets multiple times but qui couldn't keep them because it bothered at least one of the others

also, Ancom still seeks reassurance from the anarchist polycule when things get too bad with the extremists (the anarchists trash on the extremists the whole time)

every so often, Ancap has to go back to Ancapistan for prolonged periods of time (for business reasons or to hang out with the libetarians) and every time, WITHOUT FAIL, when he comes back, a prank waits for him (good and bad tricks) and it's very funny

honesly if i had any plot idea i'd write fanfics of them

jreg made the mistake of not making canon libunity content. if i was satisfied with something like "leftist unity" i would have been moderately okay (maybe, perhaps, don't quote me on that). but he had to have minimal shared screentime and put them playing poker together and obviously have them be friends.

so NOW i have to make my own food.

Anarcho-syndicalism to me is really just a way modern Ancoms differentiate themselves from the past and from the communists! Honestly, as far as I've seen, it's basically the same thing.

For continuity and recognizability's sake, I always refer to Ancom as Ancom not Ansyn, but there's really no difference, at least to me. Politically qui has the same goals, qui can just differentiate quemselves more from the left. If in fics I want to emphasize Ancom's independence, qui will refer to quemselves as Ansyn.

Also I love neopronouns for Ancom. Qui's neopronouns to me symbolize a radical departure from the gender hierarchy. Qui is also French for "who," which, as someone who is fluent in Frenglish/Franglais I don't think Jreg missed. The question of "Who is Anarcho-Communism" reflects in "Qui est Anarcho-Communism?" which is the entire character arc of Ancom in the series.
