The Pokemon universe’s science is so cool I want it expanded on. Like there’s so much cool TECHNOLOGY and IDEAS and it’s USED but like what if it was used to the fullest extent.

XY in particular has science that rules and could be cool if expanded on in depth with immortality and the ultimate weapon. BW’s use of science with the DNA splicers and Team Plasma’s big ass canon powered by Kyurem is cool too. Like what if the tech that was used to power the kyurem weapon came from the ultimate weapon years ago, but Colress took it and made it better.

SM has the ultra beasts, DPPT has stuff there too.

Even like modern, everyday technology could be fascinating. Like teleporters are installed in not just evil team bases but also in gyms. Like it’s probably a rich people thing but like!! Imagine. THE PC TOO AND THE BOX SYSTEM TOO. Like it’s not supposed to be that deep but like what if.

And from what I’ve heard about ScVi oooough it might be fun to think about once I play it.

And even if pokemon’s timeline has various events happening at the same time I find it interesting how there’s scientific advancements happening in each region that isn’t shared across each other. Of course this has the irl explanation of just the games being released differently compared to the in universe tl but that doesn’t tick my brain.

And like we clearly see a lot of this science being used for evil, hell most of it comes from the evil teams of each games. But like I wanna see how it affects the world outside of evil teams. And doesn’t even have to be tech based either. Have Archie and Maxie do something with oceanology or geology, and what the effects of their action do something with meteorology. Secret evil third team.

I'm wondering...in the story, Diavolo explains that marriage between humans and demons isn't possible because there is still a lot of bad blood between the realms and most demons are still against even the exchange program, so I guess this app will take place far into the future? or it'll just not be a part of canon...hm.

Here is a drawing of one of my favourite changes in choreography in the Australian deh production :)

During Good For You, after Alana and Jared have their little solos, Alana comes to the front of the stage and crouches down with her hands over her head, completely still. At the same time, Jared goes upstage and paces back and forth very quickly - every time he has to turn around he makes stilted and frustrated gestures as if he doesn’t know what to do with himself. I was very excited by this, as it is so unlike the broadway version of this scene where they stand symmetrically on opposite sides of the stage. Instead, Alana and Jared’s reaction to their feelings are clearly contrasted against each other. It seemed so natural too; while they move in formation for a lot of gfy, here it was like they had to take a break from the song because of how overwhelmed they were! Which only made it easier to empathise with them. The whole song was spectacular of course but this particular decision I think was very successful. I have always been intrigued by the contrast between Alana and Jared and it was really brought to the forefront in this moment.

VINCULUM - Decepticon Space Station

Vinculum was forged simultaneously with Directrix. They were close friends before they were separated.

While Directrix was acquired by the current government, Vinculum was bought by a powerful and influential politician (name pending). He served as his personal space station.

I had a headcanon where larger mechs whose function involves housing other mechs (i.e. ships, titans, space stations, shuttles, etc) have innate abilities unique to them that aid them in their function. But just for this post i will mention the ability to psychically communicate with their inhabitants since it's important to mention for him. This ability was modified and enhanced by said politician's scientists to enable Vinculum to be able to read surface thoughts.

This was used to spy on political rivals and friends alike and collect their dirty secrets whenever they are invited on board the space station for parties or campaigns.

Vinculum can also plug into their victim with a cable for a deeper probe on memories if needed. The victim usually does not recall the incident as it is erased before they leave.

He is also used for other equally nefarious purposes, such as scamming, fraud, laundering, trade and stock market manipulation often for the benefit of his owner.

His ownership was forcibly transferred to the Decepticons when the war started and he continued his work there.

Yknow I understand totally when people enter a large group chat and immediately get overwhelmed by it popping off constantly, that’s hard to keep up with. I’ve recently entered a group chat where NOBODY talks. Theres about 200 people in here with new arrivals every few days and nobody says hello. Nobody introduces themselves either, probably bc they see ZERO people talking at all, and that has established a sort of Cultural Norm in here that nobody wants to break. But then when somebody does break it to send out a message, usually me trying to spark some level of conversation, nobody responds to that either!

Even more hilarious is that this is a local community chat for artists and crafters, where we publicly meet up and hang out once a month. Nobody talks about the hang outs though. Sometimes there is a schedule update from the organizer, who then rarely responds to questions. I’ve had to answer a few for them and I’ve only managed to come to one meet up!! I’m baffled! Are these folks all actually chronically OFFline or is everyone too anxious to speak to eachother?? I feel like I’m studying a group of animals who are all sitting in separate areas of their enclosure and barely glancing when a new animal wanders in and chooses their own corner to sit in silence

I spent soooo long thinking about how I would decorate my home after the move and we have been here. three years, as of yesterday. and I have one art piece on the living room wall and some birthday balloons taped around my bedroom.

Day 1 down!

The weather was gorgeous and we got to enjoy the sunlight for a good bit in the park, and I snagged myself some goodies:

(shoutout to @estramor for spotting the Mordor bag... I tried walking away and I couldn't XD Definitely will be the bag I use whenever I cosplay Mairon). And our kitchen is slowly morphing into having soot sprites everywhere -- soot sprite oven mitts, soot sprite apron, soot sprite bookends for the cook books XDD We've been meaning to get a kitchen towel, and this was just too perfect.

Also, after cosplaying for almost ten years, I have finally figured out a way to make raised hairstyles on non-lace front wigs work for me: BALD CAPS! I can't believe I didn't try this sooner, I would have saved myself so much grief (and money lmao). Still not as good as a lace front, obviously, but when the color you need is impossible to find on a lace front, this is a decent alternative. First time I'm actually happy with raised bangs on a blunt hairline wig!
