[Chaos Lineage] Kou Pranking Subaru Translation

Hello hello! I really keep thinking about this moment in Kou’s CL route, so I wanted to translate it and share this really nice moment with you guys! I had a lot of fun translating it too, hehe

Not sure if this contains a lot of spoilers, so read at your own risk~

Prior to Kou’s memories returning, Kou and Yui theorize that they need to give some sort of a big shock for one’s memories to return. They call it “Shock Medicine.” Now they need to test it...

Yui: Y-Yeah… …but, are we really going to do this?

Kou: Of course! This may be a bit too far, but this is for Subaru’s sake.

[Subaru is walking closer]

[Subaru walking even closer]

Yui: (Kou is really close behind Subaru, but it seems like he hasnt noticed.)

Subaru: ug… …– ((*Dying noises*))

Yui: (uwaa, that was really loud. Subaru is holding his head in pain… …)

Yui: U-umm… …Subaru… …

Kou: Subaru, how was that!?

Subaru: Dont “How was this-how was that” me, YOU GUYS AGAIN! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?

Kou: Uwaa, fail! Uum, okay, bye see you later!

[Kou and Yui Exuent]

[Scene changes, Subaru is walking down the hall again]

Subaru: … … … …

Yui: … …Subaru is being cautious.

(We already got him twice, of course he’s gonna be cautious.)

Kou: This is a really simple trick, but… …

Subaru: Those bastards… …looks like they arent here. Dammit, I’m just trying to go back to my room, why do I have to suffer like this… …?

[Subaru opens the door, water spills on him]

Kou: Yay, we got'em!

Subaru: I dont care about the apology, why the fuck were you doing that?

Kou: M Neko Chan, bring it in~!

Subaru: Don’t ignore me!!

[Yui enters]

Yui: Okay, here you go. There's plenty of food, so do eat a lot.

Subaru: ugh… …This smell… …

Kou: A-Anyway, lets countdown…. …1, 2 and !

[Carla enters]

Carla: … …You guys, what are you doing?

[Scene changes to dungeon]

Carla: Repent in there.

[Carla Exuent]

Kou: W-Wait Carla!? We didn’t do anything to get us locked in… …

Carla, I said wait~!

[Door closing]

Yui: He’s gone… ….

Subaru: Shit, why me too… …

Subaru: You guys dragged me into all your bullshit!

Kou: Isnt it all because you didn’t remember anything? After we did our best with all of that.

Kou: It wasn’t bullshit, all of it was serious!

Hey, just remember something already. We used to be really good friends!

Subaru: What the hell are you even talking about?!

Kou: UGH- WHY WONT YOU REMEMBER ANYTHING~! SUBARU YOU DUMMY!!

Subaru: Shut the fuck up!
