oh i guess i didnt post abt it ? but ive been reading another ~sapphic~ ~wlw~ romance book and HATEDDDDDDD the beginning. but now im near the end and am having fun hating it bc i believe the author and i have reached an understanding that these people are losers <3 i think wayyyy too many authors try to have A Very Special Episode vibe for romance books as if blorbo #1 is literally the first person on earth to ever experience depression/anxiety/ADHD/autism/an ED/chronic pain/dysphoria/single parenthood/baldness etc etc etc and gets to explain the wikipedia page to blorbo #2, who is effortlessly understanding despite just learning abt it. this book is still kinda giving the "effortless" part but cannot tell you how refreshing it is to have the MC be like "🥺 yeah....🥺....i have... GAD 🫢👉👈 that's Generalized Anxiety Disorder....it means im saur anxious all the time....🥺" and the love interest is like. yeah dude, my mom and 5 other ppl i know have it. anyways
