:T <- guy who got all excited because it recognized the "wyn" in aelwyn as the anglo saxon name -fix wynn/wyn/wen meaning "joy" and though the abernants had anglo saxon names but they dont. they dont guys its welsh which is also super sick but i know fuck all about welsh, welsh pronunciation, welsh names, welsh name meanings, how to find good information on that, etc etc etc. this is the problem with living languages. no one gives a flying fuck about anglo saxon except ME and academics 💀 anyway google says aelwyn means fair browed which makes sense bc shes blonde but does not fuck nearly as hard as "noble joy" which my misreading of a scholarly blog briefly led me to believe was correct before i tracked down the context and was proven wrong.
