I keep thinking about this and haven't been able to get it out of my head so I'm gonna put it here so I can look at it from another point of view...Something that confuses me about the human experience is that so many of us CHOOSE to simply exist instead of LIVING... Understanding and loving yourself because you are a valid human with a unique human experience is instrumental to true happiness. Until you understand the truth of your experience and how it has impacted you, you have no control of your experience and future. But once you understand yourself, your needs, your desires, where they came from, and decide what to keep and what to discard, you will only be what Life has made of you, not what YOU have made of you.

If you understand that nothing happened to you, YOU HAPPENED, well, then you have taken your first step toward real power... IF YOU TAKE ON THE VISAGE OF A VICTEM THAT IS ALL YOU WILL EVER BECOME. IT IS A TRAP.

Take your power back. Understanding isnt the same as dismissing the actions of others and the impact it had on you; BUT, when we aren't aware of what happened to us, why it happened, and how it affected us, then we repeat patterns that hurt us and those we love. It is in our nature to do what we KNOW, even if what we know is toxic. Knowing is half the battle. WILLFUL IGNORANCE IS TOXIC. Once you understand and can clearly see what you NEED and what you dont, you have the power to change it. YOU HAVE THE POWER TO SAY NO AS A COMPLETE SENTENCE. You do not have to explain yourself to anyone, though you can choose to share your experience with those you care for, the difference is that when you have to explain you are searching for their validation, when you choose to you have already validated yourself and only seeking to enlighten and allow them to understand you better and strengthen your bond. This difference will cause conflict and you will lose people, some of which you love. Sometimes we are so desperate for love that we latch onto anyone we can, and then we put up with abuse of all kinds to keep them!

Learn who you are and then improve upon it one step at a time! Who YOU ARE isn't FINAL until you CHOOSE to stop growing and changing.. no one else can change you without your permission, even trauma can only affect you if you choose not to process it and choose to keep it and not move past it...

All this takes time and determination. It is a battle with your demons, but when they are dominated and subjugated to YOUR WILL instead of you to theirs, you really start loving yourself. You GROW STRONGER AND BECOME A PERSON THAT YOU CHOOSE AND THEREFORESOMEONE WORTHY OF YOUR LOVE. You will lose things and people on a journey as long and difficult as this; it is unavoidable. You cant keep adding ingredients to a recipe that doesn't call for them and get the product you want. You have to make.a choice. The recipe, or the product. If you're ok with a slightly different product thats fine,, and can even improve it in ways you didn't anticipate, but the process ISNT EASY, which is why the majority of people will never reach their true potential. The process is hard but worth it. When you reach the platues qhere you ar content with the yield you have produced it is bliss. And when you strat to feel hungry again you know how to get what you need! It is no longer a struggle to find your way. When you love yourself and understand what you need, you can only improve your experience or choose to be miserable. Most people choose to let life HAPPEN TO THEM, instead of making sure that they HAPPEN IN LIFE, thus they are subject to their experiences instead of ruling themselves. You have to love yourself 1st. Drugs are a way to disconnect from yourself and your experiences, but they won't give you ALL THAT YOU NEED. They are a tool and should be used as such, and sometimes they are needed to get through some hard situations, but they should be an accessory to the plan and not your destination. Becoming fully dependent upon anything other than your own will is perilous, and is a pitfall alot of people fall into. You can climb out, but it is going to add more pain, aggravation, stress, and discomfort to your journey than you have to experience. You can choose to see the obstacles and choose to avoid the ones that already unnecessary. You can choose to do better and be better. You can be full, content, at peace with yourself and still have passion and desire and ambitions. Controling yourself fully is freedom. You cant control anyone else without damaging them and causing them to damage you in return. It is an unhealthy cycle that feeds into itself. The only person you should ever seek to control is you. Influencing others to collaborate with you and align themselves to a similar goal is fine,, but you can't force your will on others without doing damage and endangering yourself and all that you have worked for. Your life should be the most precious thing you have.

Also, When your needs are met, you can still want things. Your dreams are even more realistically achievable when you are secure in your own self and survival... but the SELF HAS TO COME 1ST. People cling to the idea that to be HUNGRY is the only way to keep your momentum. That isn't true. It can act as motivation, but like anything else, too much can break you down instead of propel you forward. You can be content and at peace and still keep moving toward your goals because it is your ardent wish to do so. It is just a choice instead of a need to meet those goals at that point, and you when you realize don't have to suffer between milestones, it is a life changing moment. Let your self confidence, self control, and self awareness carry you between milestones, instead of dragging yourself down the road starving, exhausted, and in pain until you reach your goal. Over endurance is another pitfall. Dont get lost in comfort. Being comfortable and becoming complacent are different things. If you approach life from a place of unfufilled needs and hunger, you will only every experience happiness as fleeting. You will become addicted to successes and failures will break you down instead of teaching you. Being content isn't the same as being stagnant. You can't give up your desires for comfort otherwise you become imbalanced and stagnated.

Another problem is that we give so much of ourselves to everyone else and keep very little to in reservefor ourself. This can cause burnouts faster than anything else. If you are giving when you are already in a deficit of self, you are inevitably going to burn out completely. We prioritize others above ourselves and waste ourselves and call it sacrifice.Your soul is yours 1st. If you dont feed it and care of it and keep sacrificing pieces of it for others you will eventually run out and not have the ability to regrow it. When farmers harvest, they store away seeds for the next season. You can enjoy your yield and still reserve some for later without fweling guilty.. it will swrve you better in the long run. It's ok to sacrifice pieces, as long as you save seeds to continue growing and cultivating. Cross breeding your soul with that of others that you learn from and connect with can improve your yield, or it can kill you. You have to be aware of what you're putting into yourself and what you're losing. If we float through life just existing instead of consciously choosing to stear ourselves we will remain lost forever. And you can't get where you want to go without knowing where you are and where you have been. Your soul is yours. Your life is your choice. If what you want is in direct conflict with those around you, you need to remove yourself from the situation. You can not force others to grow or understand or take the more difficult path and continue growing. My goal in life is to grow until I leave this vessel and become the next thing. I hope there is something next to become, but I dont know. Which makes it all the more important to be present and choose to LIVE instead of just exist or survive. Knowing yourself and exerting your will over your life is POWERFUL. Learning to properly balance risk and reward is crucial to obtaining your objectives. Balance is so important, and that means that if you have to be aware of not only mistakes, but overcorrecrions. With that power you can do great or terrible things. The important thing is that you have free will. No one can take that unless you give it to them! So DONT.

Alright hi people. Gotta fun story for you! I’m sick. So yeah, the end. I’m huddled up in my room, experiencing an uncomfortable amount of stomach pain, and I. thought “hey! why dont i just do a liveblog?” and now im here. prepare youreselves, we’ve got a whole 4 pages today! lets just get started.

Oh right, we left off with these fellas. Jasprose looks more than happy to bother this guy, and Erisol looks like he wants to jump off a cliff but cant because he floats.

DAD/Calliope/Jane: Not much to say on this pairing, other than it might be interesting if we get to see DAD talk? He probably wont though, let’s be honest.

Kanaya/Roxy: This should be interesting as well! Again, I’m trying to wrap my head around timeline shenanigans, so who knows how much Kanaya knows about Roxy. But Roxy did the matriorb thing! And I feel like Kanaya is seriously gonna admire Roxy, which is likely going to be adorable.

ive been seeing a lot of rather cringy lgbt+-related rant videos and posts on tumblr. these kinds of thing has been going on for a while now. i think maybe its just totally inappropriate timing what with all the trump dilemma that made ppl become more triggered than usual, but its come to the point where i have to go out of my way to make both a rant and a psa out of this post. or maybe ive been following the wrong ppl.

anyways, those cringy rant vids/posts. they are usually white teenage girls who go on and on about how someone called them “miss” when “excuse me????” *cough cough* “ACTUALLY, im genderfluid.”

ok. howbout YOU excuse me. bc frankly, you look like a “miss”, so thats why i called you “miss”. i mean like i wont call you a bitch until you look like a female dog. OH MY!!!! im sorry!!! youre genderfluid. my bad. correction: a genderfluid dog. so yeah, dont you act all triggered just bc someone assumed your gender identity incorrectly. how could i tell when you have your boobs falling out of your shirt?? you dont exactly announce your gender to the world, do you??? its only fair that i would assume so. empathize with the ppl who arent exposed to the different lgbt spectrums. dont rant about it. TAKE ACTION and take the initiative to point out their mistake. youre genderfluid, fine with me. that is my mistake, sorry for being ignorant and not noticing. pls correct me. its simple as that. why dont you have the nerve to correct them when someone mistook your gender, but you have it in you to go to fucking tumblr to rant about it? the mistake isnt gonna fix itself when you do so. it only gets fixed when you point it out to the person who made that mistake. what is your purpose here???? are you trying to get sympathy or attention?? bc youre not getting any from me. i dont care and im sick of it. if you want someone who does, go tell your mother.

yall lgbt ppl assumed this “dont assume” policy for yourselves. im willing to follow, but there will ofc be ppl out there who are not aware. dont blame them. from the moment any child is born, they are subjected to this hetero-normative view of how a person is identified as. they are programmed from a young age that there is an order in which a person follows. if youre not female, youre male. there seems to be no other option. being lgbt creates the opportunity to be someone else. not all ppl are exposed to this. those who do take advantage of it.

im part of the lgbt community myself (as i am bi), but im embarrassed for what some of you have done to demean the value of the lgbt community. its like how ppl seem to always be hating on feminists all over again, bc of some ppl taking it too far and dont fully understand what it means. just bc you dont conform to the norms of society when it comes to sexual orientation doesnt mean you get any special favour. my friends, even the gay ones, have been joking around about how “omg youre cant do _____ just bc im gay like thats not ok.” but i find the truth in what they joke around about. ppl from the lgbt seem to always be finding excuses to be offended when someone comments on their sexuality.

take it from my experiences. i live near two schools, so there are lots of kids in my neighborhood. the school im going to is a very multicultural public school that has a lot of brown and asian kids (my squad), and the other school is a prestigious private school specializing in art that is predominantly white. both schools are very close, so we know the ins and outs of each other. admittedly, i have lots of friends from both of the schools: lgbt friends, non-lgbt friends, and friends who jokes/pretend that they are lgbt. my point is: i know this kid from the private school. there was a rumour that he is gay. i confronted to him and bluntly asked him if he is actually gay. he started yelling at me defensively, saying “do you have a problem??? you cant just hate me bc im gay.” I DID NOT DO ANYTHING. i didnt speak to him again. on the other hand, theres this muslim trangendered boy in my school. hes quite famous due to his gender identity. when i met him for the first time, i asked him if he is transgender. he was cool about it and just simply said “yeah. im pretty famous in this school arent i?” he didnt get offended. he didnt act defensively. we were off with a very good start. since our school are more multicultural than the private school, a lot of us coming from eastern countries. eastern countries are more conservative and they dont take kindly to “different” ppl. he worked hard to be who he wants to be, and he is confident with himself and his gender.

not totally unrelated to this, but im a friend of a girl who goes to the private school. nice kid, very cute, great at dance. she usually dresses in pretty dresses and skirts. but one day, she came in with jeans, sweater, and short boyish hair. everyone was surprised. then she told everyone she is genderfluid. there were a lot of genderfluid ppl in the private school, not so much in my school. when i asked her how she knew, she said why not??

it seems like there is a trend on being lgbt+, especially in this demographic (white, female, teen). as soon as its openly accepted, ppl will conform to become a part of this new thing. even after joining tumblr and seeing all these new lgbt+ categories makes me question myself. i tried to fit myself into this label, and i feel that this is what is happening. before it is accepted in western countries, the idea was very hush hush. now that everyone is beginning to accept it, suddenly everyone is lgbt. not like “oh im closeted bc lgbt is not accepted and now im out bc its accepted.” no, its like “oh this lgbt thing is pretty new! lets see which category i THINK i fit in the best and squeeze myself into this label.” im sorry, if youre an actual lgbt veteran and you have been fighting all your life for acceptance and equal rights. but there are ppl who are trying to conform to this lgbt+ “thing” bc it seems like everyone is out as well. there are even some ppl who would go out of there way to make a point that they ARE indeed lgbt+. you cant just wake up one morning and decide that youre suddenly asexual, or pansexual (when you havent even had a sexual relationship) or genderfluid. its not fair to those who have worked so hard. but then again, im in no position to tell you who you are. you are the controller of your life. but dont act all defensive and go crying to your followers just bc someone makes a comment on your sexuality/gender but youre not confident/sure enough about it to forget and forgive. if this is truly who you are, then TAKE ACTION. you dont need to prove to me that you are lgbt, just simply embrace it by expressing it. BELIEVE IN WHO YOU ARE. and dont be ashamed. you cant stop someone from assuming when you yourself dont accept that fact. who cares what others think.

Look, if any of yall are Jehovah’s witnesses or follow their practices, I have nothing against you personally. I’m also aware that many of you might not agree with this commercial either, or homophobia in general. But it’s this type of shit that just makes me beyond frustrated, to the point where I can’t even tell if it’s a joke or if it’s being serious.

God, where do I even begin. First of all, can we talk about the PRODUCTION QUALITY of this shit? It looks like it was ripped straight from a pixar film, which is NOT a good thing. It just shows how big these organisations have become, how they can afford to have their anti-gay PSA’s looking like it could be an animated movie.

It’s even worse when you consider the fact that they’re aiming this to - that’s right- CHILDREN. Now instead of watching finding Nemo and the Incredibles, the children of these religious groups get to watch “Lesson 22, One man, one woman”. What kind of sick parents do you have to be to essentially deprive these children of their childhoods and force them to watch something like this? It’s organised brainwashing, you’re preying on the ones that can’t think for themselves.

Again, I’m not against the religion or its values or anyone in particular, not even the fucktards who made this video. But I’m disgusted and mortified by the fact that this video is aimed towards children.

I even had some people question me saying that it wasn’t aimed towards children in particular, just Jehovah’s witnesses in general. Um, I’m sorry but if you watched the video, I question your judgement if you really think that this video was anything but a message to kids.

It just so happens to be a well-made animation film, the genre of videos children tend to like. There’s a lot of colors and warmth and easy to understand analogies - perfect for catching the attention of children. The main character that we learn through in this video? A child. Even the gross, condenscending tone they use in the video is the type of voice you would hear kindergarten teachers use, like, it’s not that deep people.

Legit, some of the things they say in this video is just fucking ridiculous. They literally said that following Jehovah’s “standards” (aka not being gay) in order to get to “paradise”, is the “same thing” as going through airport security and making sure you didn’t bring anything that “wasn’t allowed” on the plane. Seriously? Oh right, so when I die, I just need to make sure that I put my homosexuality away to the side before I travel through security, then I could go to paradise! They make it sound like it’s something you can easily change or discard even, when it’s honestly anything but that. I can’t imagine being a child or a teen that’s gay and go on with life knowing that I won’t be able to go to this “paradise” just because of the gender I like.

Also, I know this is basically how religion works and all, but they really be acting like Jehovah and Jesus’s saying are absolute truth. Like the way the mother immediately went off about Jehovah’s standards and sayings once she heard how “Carrie drew two mommies” as opposed to one dad and one mom, (oof, two women, married? wHaT blAspHEmy). I don’t know, it kinda rubs me off the wrong way. Especially the part where she says “and Jesus said the SAME thing!” as if it was a revelation, and like its absolute PROOF that Jenovah’s words are final. They just keep having the same people validate each other’s statements, which kinda just reduces their followers to sheep.

Their video is also very problematic cause they try to pretend they’re not actually against gay marriage. Never do they say ‘oh, being gay is wrong’, it’s always super cryptic and tries to act non-discriminatory. Especially in the end when the mom asks what the daughter should say to carrie, and she says something along the line of “I’ll tell her about the paradise, the animals, and the resurrection!”. It just screams positivity and enlightenment, when in reality she basically just told carrie that her parents are going to hell. Their tone doesn’t match their implications.

A child who is only a few years old, deserves to play around and watch cartoons and read books, not listen to gospel that teaches them that being gay is a sin. A child should have the right to be able to think for themselves and not have to be told whats right or wrong based on someone elses standards. A child who is gay or anything but the norm shouldn’t have to feel that they have to hide or change a huge aspect of themselves just to follow “Jehovah’s standards”.

Just to make it clear because I know some of ya’ll might will take this all wrong, I AM NOT AGAINST THE JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES, CHRISTIANITY, OR THEIR VALUES. Even though I disagree with some of their principles, people are allowed to believe in whatever they want as long as they don’t shove it in my face. What I can’t tolerate though is the fact that they’re attempting to target children and teach them that discrimination and changing who you are for someone else is ok.

I just hope that the people who made this video would take some time to reflect on the fact that they’re taking advantage of children’s impressionable minds and stop making these so-called “lessons”. We’re in 2018 already, stop paraphrasing books written 4000 years ago.

I’m done ranting. It seems like youtube has taken the video down, or maybe the channel who posted it took it down, which is a good start. Hopefully they stop using the video altogether, but I sincerely doubt that.

I have been wanting a motorcycle since I got my regular drivers license, but persuading my parents has proven difficult, as always. This question may be a bit complicated because I for one am stumped so here it goes... I recently got an auto insurance policy for 2 cars it was a small hispanic insurance place but hey they were cheap so I got 2 cars insured after the deposit and 1st month for the 2nd month they sent me a bill which I paid in there offices no problem. So a few days later I wanted to get my brother a sr 22 and add him to the policy I called their phone number repeatedly for a quote but no answer. I went to their offices in the daytime it looked vacant but then again it was empty when I initially went there but neway it was closed with a very short note on the door inconsiderately written in spanish but there were 2 phone numbers which I tried calling them both repeatedly but no answer. I went there about 2days after that and it still looked vacant,same note on the door, the numbers still were just ringing to a voicemail. (which is now full) I am pretty concerned because for one I have a 6 month policy that I pay for monthly no way am I gonna pay them through my account I don't trust them so how am I suppose to pay my policy if their office seem to be closed without notice? If I don't pay I'm pretty sure they will send me to collections. What about my down payment? Not to mention they have my family and myself's personal information.. What should I do when there's nobody to contact???

At this point I was a bit suspicious and the amount seemed very high for what I thought was not a lot of damage but at the same time he said that he either wanted to do it like that or through the insurance and I really didn't want to loose my no-claims discount as insurance for young male drivers is very high without the no-claims. In the end I decided to pay him, not without a certain bitterness owing to the fact that he was pressuring me for an immediate decision, which also made me suspicious. Having sent the cheque for 400, he kept up communications initially and let me know that he'd received it. He said that he would send me a copy of the receipt from the garage for my records but once he received the cheque I never heard back and now cannot get a reply. Bit long-winded for a question but that's the background story, my question is two-fold: 1. Can I do anything about it? It's more the principle than the money that bothers me, I know that I caused damage to his car but I now suspect it wasn't as much as he claimed. 2. Does 400 sound like too much or should I stop worrying about it? I hit the back corner of his car with the back corner of mine, and he later told me that I had cracked the rear bumper, which needed replacing. Last year around September I made the grave mistake of letting a friend borrow my car to see his girlfriend and he claimed to have just gotten his license and it was supposed to come in the mail within the next week. I believed him and it's my fault, no question about that. He got pulled over and the cops gave him a ticket for no proof of insurance. And because he didn't have a license, they impounded my car for 30 days, but if he had gotten his license within that time, I could've retrieved my car earlier, but he was not cooperating. To make a long story short, I paid 1,500 out of my pocket to release my car from the impound lot, and my car was insured at the time but he was too dumb to find it in my glove compartment and got a ticket for 2,000. He now wants proof of insurance to dismiss the ticket but I'm not giving him it until I'm reimbursed for the impound fees. Is there any way he can get out of the no insurance ticket without proof of insurance? I live in California btw. Thanks!""

Ok so I was driving home late morning a few nights ago, it was snowing pretty badly making conditions pretty bad, difficult to drive in and especially with my car (eclipse) so I was not doing any more then I could handle. I was on the highway going around 15-25 mph at most. Suddenly I began to swerve and spun out and got turned around and finally hit the guardrail, not much force because I was driving pretty slow to begin with.
