I had a thought moment of thought today, and I had done a take on a Pokémon Team for Starlo and how he would have got them. So with that I give you my thoughts on what Pokémon he would have in Pokétale Yellow if there was one.

I feel like he'd probably have these Pokémon for some reason. I dunno why, but these Pokémon were the first to come to mind for him.
So here's how I think he would get them all:
Starlo got his Minior, Wistern, when he was young. The poor thing was was barely glowing due to its poor health and condition and Starlo was absolutely terrified for the little thing. He nursed it back to health with help from his parents and his older brother. After it was fully bought to good health, he was going to release it into the Underground so that it could thrive, but it refused to go anywhere and stayed by his side, so he basically adopted it and became it's trainer.
He got Revolver after he found a Remoraid in the Dunes. The Remoraid was beached, (or in this case Duned) as it somehow traveled out of water. He took it in, took it home, filled up a bowl of water and put the Remoraid in that bowl so that he could take care of it easily. As it turns out, a group of rude monsters had taken a Remoraid from Waterfall and did it for "fun." After that, he did try to go look for the Remoraid's home so that he could get him home, but it turns out the bullies were near Remoraid's home and when they saw Starlo holding a bowl with the Remoraid in it, they immediately started picking on him for helping it and even going to the point they started trying to hurt him and the Remoraid. Starlo quickly ran to the water to let the Remoraid get away, but when it was in the water, the small gun fish Pokémon got defensive and tried to save Starlo, before it then evolved into an Octillery and chased off the bullies by shooting at them with a Water Gun. After that, Octillery was happy and stuck with him. He named it Revolver after one of the weapons that Cowboys would use in his movies after that situation.
Bullet was gotten as a Squirtle as a gift from his father. At first, it was very timid and didn't seem opened up to him at all, which reminded Starlo of himself before he met Ceroba. He named her Bullet after the ammo in guns and started to try to get along with it, to which he did and they became close. Over time, he did get along with it and soon she evolved into a Wartortle, then after another while she became a Blastoise, and he was gifted a Mega Stone for Bullet from his mother after she saw the friendship he had with Bullet, so that he could be able to Mega Evolve her. Though he rarely uses it, as he realizes that with great power, comes harsh consequence and backlash.
Bandit was found in The Dunes as a normal encounter as a Sandile. Although, the only thing that differed it from other Sandiles was that it was almost like a puppy. After he fed it some beef jerky, it just followed him and wouldn't leave, so he kept it. Even after it evolved, it still acts like a puppy, even sometimes crawling onto his lap just because it can. It does have an issue with stealing things though, so he does have to return most of the items to whoever it stole the items from...
Shotgun was found as a Dreepy. One day as he was walking around the Wild East (before it was a tourist attraction) at night, he encountered the Dreepy looking around for something. After he walked up to it, the Dreepy seemed to float up to him, before staring at his hands. He was confused but then it made motions for him to throw it and when he threw it, it came back to him with an excited burst of emotion basically wanting him to throw it again. To which he did and it went on for a while until he had to go home. He was shocked though when she hopped into his bag and looked for a Pokéball, only to find a Nest Ball and encapsulate herself in it. When he fully evolved her, it was sad because she couldn't be picked up and tossed by him anymore, but she instead returns the favor by flying him around sometimes.
Horse was gotten as a Mudbray. After he saw it looked like the baby Pokémon that Cowboys and Sheriffs rode in his movies, he caught it and tried to train it to be a really tough Pokémon. The only issue with that is that it's really lazy. It would rather just carry him around like a ride Pokémon than fight, so he mostly brings it out as just that.
---
I made a Ceroba team as well, but I didn’t come up with how she got them, so I'm still thinkin' on her team while also working on a Martlet and Dalv team, so maybe when I come up with those stories on how she got her Pokémon I'll post those next.

Hey, if you don’t mind the question. What’s your opinion on Undertale Yellow?
8/10 game. pretty good at being a game, not so much at being an undertale story. the gameplay itself was fun, the area/puzzle designs too, the soundtrack was untouchable it literally gave me the same rush i felt hearing sburb initiation for the first time. minor NPCs designs were fun but the primary cast was too monotonous, tbh. (all the main characters have tall gangly very detailed designs save for like, axis). its attempts at landing Undertale's humor were quite often successful, but it held back on exaggeration and caricaturing its original characters which took away that oomph from the canon game. the character writing was... lacking. which is a pity.
i love fucked up women so i was really disappointed that every single one of ceroba's actions/ideas/influences on the story were nothing but an extension of her dead husband. when you take chujin away she's just... A Good Wife and Mother. or starlo's past love interest ig. i mean both dalv and martlet's backstory were tied to her family and we never see them interact at all. but they do have an established dynamic.... with the dead husband. again. UGH. she's just really wasted as a character (she and chujin should've BOTH been scientists and she should've continued the project AGAINST his wishes after he died. she's the main cast character, she should be the driving force in the narrative, not him—even if chujin sets the plot in montion by inventing the serum first).
I'm not a huge asgore fan—not that i dislike him, he's just not a character i care about all that much—so congrats to this game for making me say "he would NOT fucking say that". the "fuck the royals" subplot thing was really unnecessary. actually, that was a bit of a recurring thing in the game. suddenly introducing these Huge Social Dilemmas like labor exploitation, anti-monarchic sentiments, misogyny (bro who on earth "needs to take a wife" this is Undertale) everyone realizing that clover is a child, over exaggerating the violence at stake... while also attempting to maintain Undertale's careless, bouncy treatment of the situation. that's... not how things work. undertale is able to maintain its light tone BECAUSE it doesn't let you take those topics seriously, they're not meant to be. the fairytale-like king, the battles, the child protagonist, they're all set dressings for the REAL story and REAL power imbalance it wants to highlight: that between player and game characters. everything is in function of that. you take that layer of separation and make everyone aware that theyre violently attacking and killing a literal child... that's not. a good thing dude. if it's not gonna impact the tone of the story, why acknowledge it in the first place? it's just unnecessary
anyway flowey neutral run was really, really fun. his dialogue writing all throughout the game was very solid and i had a blast having him around. however, they shouldn't have tried to anticipate his character development. this game is a prequel, you can't do that without undermining his arc in the canon events. pacifist should've had him doubling down on his frustration from the neutral ending. i do all this work for you keeping you alive and you make the same mistake i did sacrifice yourself for them??? are you BRAINDEAD???? what I'm saying is he basically should've thrown the biggest tantrum of his LIFE. oh and in the NM run he should've been terrified when he lost control of the SAVE file. this is the first time it's ever happened to him and now he's gonna die for good. he wouldn't have gloated like he did.
if you want to hear more criticism along the lines of what i said then this post by the fantastic @andreabandrea covers a lot of what i also felt during the game. i know this might sound like a lot of negativity, but the fact remains that UTY was an absolutely phenomenal work of fan creativity the likes of which we have never seen before in the fandom. considering the quality and polish, i thought it only fair to approach it as the piece of art it is and give it my genuine thoughts on the matter.
overall, still a really fun way to spend the afternoon with a pal. so. thumbs up
#it's just that. it is a product of fandom. with a lot of fandom shortcomings too#and seeing people praise it so wholeheartedly that they insinuate it surpasses the original#just reminds me once again that the majority of people have absolutely zero idea about what makes undertale 1) good 2) what it is#lol#answered asks#no word on the music i have the tag blacklisted because I'm tired of seeing it everywhere but not the music brother#i am listening to that shit 24/7#turn it UP#biscia hater moment

Deltarune Yellow ramble Soul drain/Dalv themed Dark world
I originally posted this all on twitter last night but I decided to share it here too this will get very ramblely btw
I think dalv would very quickly warm up to the idea of dark worlds tbh I think he'd accidentally open one be scared shitless for a bit before beginning to enjoy it on Pacifist (and maybe deluding himself into thinking it's real just a bit)
The dark world itself would be pretty obviously a Halloween and or gothic inspired kinda thing (I also like the corn yaoi based idea that Dalv and Starlo are roommates so maybe a bit of cowboy in there too)
I really like the idea of Antagonist Pops too like he's not the main Antagonist but he convinces Dalv to stay here with him their best friends after all doesn't dalv just wanna stay and play with his best friend forever? =)
(I also imagine a dark world pop's being very childish real whiny and off-putting to everyone but Dalv)
I'm am fucking exploding over @/daydreamdeputy idea of a blue corn ballerina for the secret boss of the chapter (I am going feral)

I also have no idea the kinda story it would have but I love the Snowgrave based idea @/Hotlinedreams had for this were Dalv drains the life from the enemies and he also leaves any lightners a shell of their former self (cough cough Starlo cough cough)

OK now for the ramble about the main Blood Drain route

Now Dalv and Clover would team but around the same point in the chapter Kris and Noelle did and Dalv is a lot less willing to bite people then Noelle is to freeze people.
He refuses to use the attack the first few times not wanting to hurt anyone but after Clover a few times like 3 he uses it.
At first once it's done Dalv is horrified he just kill an innocent "Monster" (Dalv at this point probably thinks its all a dream like noelle did)

But after a few moments he's hit with a rush a power and euphonia from "Getting Stronger" it leaves him feeling hungry both physically and mentally.
As the route continues Dalv is much more happy to just use the attack on anything that moves his mind is clouded by a euphonia driven haze he's not exactly thinking for himself he's just letting clover tell him whatever as long as he can feel that power again.
His dark world magic item is a gothic style choker (mainly cos its the closets think to his mouth that I think he would wear)
I'm not sure what the second one would be but the last would be like the Thorn ring pain for power the pain and extended time from bitting something makes his mind a bit more clear for the starlo battle.
Star the entire time is trying to talk both you and Dalv down still playing "hero" not 100% realising the gravity of the situation.
But you eventually make dalv use his snowgrave version (Soul Drain) on Star and Stars colours become dull as he slumps to the floor unconscious.
Dalv picks him up telling clover that "He's gonna take a rest" before walking off and staying in his room in wherever the Antagonist lives (Idk about them tbh)
He lays down with Starlo and Pops telling himself that it's all just a bad dream as he falls asleep =)
(Sorry if that one is a bit out of character I so super sleepy when I wrote it)
Lastly we have some pixel art designs for Star, Dalv and Cornerinna

If I may add my own Correct Additions to the Ceroba takes you've been leaving today, why does she take over the whole game? The final arc in Pacifist is all about her as if she's supposed to be the main antagonist or something. She gets a whole battle in Vengeance. From what people said, I thought I'd be free of her in Neutral, but she STILL hangs around in the Wild East, being "cool and mysterious" despite not even being relevant after you leave the area.
Compare this to, say, Starlo. All he gets is 3 quests and a battle with his team, with a break between each one to explore the town. Even then, you can still find Ceroba (the only NPC in the town, as we all know), and 2 cutscenes even have her in them! His own battle doesn't even count because his motive is tied to Ceroba, and it ends with Ceroba stopping the battle and talking to him. If only Ceroba's screentime was at least shared with, say Martlet and Starlo.
God, she's so pervasive in every aspect of the story and it's SUPER ANNOYING 🙄🙄🙄🙄. It's not just the Wild East, she's literally been there from the start of the game.
Like, when Clover falls into the Underground, what do they land on? Flowers! And what does Ceroba use as bullets in her attacks? Flowers! And also, Flowey, Clover's companion throughout the game? Literally yet another flower just like the one that Ceroba has. Decibat uses cyan and orange attacks that are based on sound waves and guess what? So does Ceroba! There's a corn maze in the Dark Ruins, just like the corn that Ceroba talks about after the first Feisty Five Mission. There's an "A" in Dalv and there's also an "A" in Ceroba's name. That's not a coincidence. And they both live in houses that Clover has to visit in Pacifist, like ????? Hell, both Clover and Ceroba start with Cs and both names are composed of six letters. Like, okay, we get it, the devs are all obsessed with Ceroba and it hasn't even been 30 minutes into the game 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Literally so sick of how people ignore the Ceroba Conspiracy that undercurrents every aspect of the game. It makes it borderline impossible to play as soon as you start realizing how pervasive it is because then it's like "Oh I guess this is just Undertale: Ceroba." I'm so sorry for burdening you with this knowledge but the public NEEDS to know!!!!

What is Undertale: Intervention
Undertale: Intervention is a fan project that me and a few other friends made when we were given too much free time. The basics of this AU take place when Chara is about to enact their plan, the difference being that Gaster stopped them this time. This led to the war between humans and monsters never being declared, as Asgore was never given a reason here. This series is a slice of life that follows the 8 humans that fell:
Petra Duncan - Petra is an optimistic mountain climber who after falling into the underground began to live in the Dreemurr's summer home without knowledge of their existence. She was eventually discovered, and was to her surprise offered to stay there. She eventually became more like a mayor to Old Home, despite her mostly staying there in the hopes that someone from the surface will come rescue her.
Breviet Lescart - Breviet is Petra’s ex who decided to leave Old Home after their fall. Shortly into his stay, he attacked several monsters out of fear and was eventually taken into custody by Undyne with little to no effort. Cue some much needed explanation, and Breviet was released with a warning. He went on to become great friends with Undyne, who later recruited him into the Royal Guard. Now he patrols the dunes, sort of like a street cop.
Orin Fire - Orin fell into the Underground when he was on a camping trip with his parents. After falling, he made his way past Old Home, avoiding almost everyone there including Petra. Once in Snowdin, Orin eased up, even making a friend. He soon constructed a small food stand to get by and establish his presence in the town. This eventually scored Orin a job at Grillby’s, who inevitably ended up adopting him once their bond grew stronger.
Percy Libro: Percy and their sister came from a large family who passed down the story of the Humans and Monsters in order to make sure their history remained. Fascinated by monsterkind, Percy and Muse made a shortsighted plan to venture for Mount Ebott and learn more about them. Shortly into Waterfall, the two were separated, with Percy finding Gerson telling some kids his war stories. Percy stuck around until Gerson was nearing exhaustion, and even pitched in their own knowledge about the Human-Monster conflict. Respecting this, Gerson took him in as his apprentice (Definitely not adopted, according to the both of them).
Muse Libro: Muse mostly follows the same path as Percy, but when she got separated, she found her way to a makeshift theatre being run by a ghost. She spent most of her time there, eventually getting hired and using it as her main source of income. Once the ghost became Mettaton, Muse secured her position as a shareholder in the MTT brand, primarily managing the music division.
Clover Ketsukane: Clover’s journey follows UTY, but without Flowey or Toriel’s involvement, the death of Chujin, or the amalgamation of Kanako. This time most of the incidents were accidental, such as Petra failing to keep the traps in order. Clover’s story deviates at the point of their arrival in the Wild East, with them choosing to stay there after becoming acquainted with Kanako. They made good friends with the residents of the Dunes and the Wild East, eventually meeting the rest of the Ketsukanes. Due to Chujin not trusting Starlo as a supervisor, he advised that Starlo let the Ketsukanes take Clover in, promising to allow regular trips to the Wild East (Really wasn't much debate there).
Frisk Dreemur: Frisk is the last human to fall, peacefully journeying through the ruins alongside Petra. Their arrival in Snowdin goes a bit differently, seeing as the Royal Guard is no longer in pursuit and the skeletons make no attempt at capturing them (Papyrus still challenges them to all of his puzzles, though). Papyrus leads Frisk to Undyne, who safely escorts them to Asriel and Paula with the help of Breviet (Something about how she isn’t fit to care for a child). Much to Chara’s dismay, the Dreemurrs adopt Frisk as an official member of the royal family.

This is such a cool idea, I had to explore how it might play out in-game
Bear in mind, I'm not the author (@karmaspidr) so I might be off the mark on some points, but this is generally how I think it would go down.
-------
By the time Frisk falls, tensions are nearly at the boiling point despite the best efforts of the more peacefully-minded members of both factions. Almost everyone in the underground has picked a side. The main exceptions are:
-The Ruins monsters, who don't know much about what's happening outside (except Toriel who heard from Sans, Napstablook who can come and go freely, and the spiders who are in contact with Muffet)
-Sans, who doesn't really care (but is nominally on the rebels' side due to his promise to Toriel)
-Blooky, who's become even more isolated than canon because he can't handle all the tension and hostility
-Muffet, who flip-flops depending on which side pays her more that month (or so she says at least. In truth neither side gives her the time of day because they know she'd just turn around and sell their info to the enemy)
-Flowey. On the one hand, he resents that Clover is now such a high-profile figure, as it makes it next to impossible to find an opportunity to take their soul. On the other, he's not really trying that hard. This whole cold civil war thing is the most interesting thing to happen in the underground in a very long time, and he's curious enough about how it might play out that he decides not to reset and try again. Unfortunately for him, he waited too long, and now you and Frisk have stolen his power over time...
The guard presence in Snowdin and Waterfall is greatly reduced, since they're all too busy either monitoring key entry points like the Steamworks or sabre-rattling at various border outposts.
You eventually encounter Martlet at some point, who brings you to the Wild East. This allows you to potentially alter the course of the conflict by either befriending the rebels or picking off key members of the resistance.
Regardless of how you behave, the sequence culminates in a fight with Clover, either to try and stop Frisk from facing Asgore alone, or to avenge the residents of the Wild East Frisk killed. Clover cannot be spared if you killed any WE residents or Sanctuary agents. Sparing Clover will allow you to ask Martlet to fly you back and forth between the Wild East and the main path. If you kill Clover, you have to make your own way back via the Steamworks, fending off rebel ambushes and defeating Axis, who guards the Hotland entrance/exit. You can still go through the Steamworks if you spare Clover, but neither the monsters nor Axis will attack you.
-If Clover is spared, the neutral Asgore battle will be interrupted by Clover and a small posse of Sanctuary's strongest fighters, making Asgore's attack patterns easier to dodge (representing him being distracted fighting multiple enemies) and causing him to take a small amount of damage each turn (representing the posse's attacks).
-If Clover is killed, the rebellion will continue under a new leader (Ceroba > Starlo > Feisty Four > Martlet). If none of these candidates are spared, Sanctuary surrenders to the crown and the Wild East is reabsorbed into the Kingdom.
-Either way, Omega Flowey still happens. If Clover backs Frisk up against Asgore, Flowey uses the power of the other five souls to kill them before they can react. If Clover is killed in the Wild East, Flowey takes their soul then. Unlike UTY, Clover can't resist due to being weakened and exhausted from the battle with either Frisk or Asgore.
In the neutral endings, the conflict would play out differently depending on both which neutral ending you get and Frisk's actions in the Wild East:
-With zero kills and the rebels befriended, the Wild East rejoins Queen Toriel's new, pro-human underground. The former rebels mourn Clover, but take heart in the fact that their mission was accomplished. The fallen souls are free, humanity is safe, and neither Asgore nor any other monster will ever harm another innocent person again. If Undyne was not befriended, she ends up in jail for repeatedly harassing and picking fights with the former rebels. If befriended, she bonds with them over their shared fighting spirit and great respect for their fallen leaders.
-Under Empress Undyne, civil war breaks out, with the winning side depending on how many major players from each faction you killed. If the rebels win, their current leader takes the crown. Regardless of whether it's Empress Ceroba, President Starlo, the Council of Four, or Queen Martlet, the new leader/s declare the war on humanity over, but they're still wary of what the next human to fall might do...
-Under King Papyrus, the Wild East remains independent, but Sanctuary calls a truce with the crown, respecting Papyrus' policy of judging humans as individuals rather than a monolith.
-Under King Mettaton, the rebellion persists, but shifts gears. Sure, humanity is safe now, but monsterkind is now under the thrall of a tyrant, one that must be stopped, no matter the cost...
-Under Queen Alphys, the rebels have surrendered after finding themselves leaderless as described above. Alphys is glad. There are so few monsters left now after all, they can't afford any infighting.
-In a Leaderless underground, the highest ranking rebel survivor takes the crown similar to if the rebels defeat Empress Undyne. If all rebel leaders are dead, the Leaderless ending plays out as normal.
Might do pacifist and/or genocide in separate posts later on. I love this AU, this is just such a cool idea and I couldn't not explore it. Huge shoutouts to @karmaspidr for both coming up with it and giving me their blessing to put my little spin on it here.
Desert Sanctuary AU
Post Undertale Yellow True Pacifist. Clover decides to NOT sacrifice himself. Doing so would risk bringing humanity a set closer to extinction and there is also no real guarantee it would help anyone. And Asgore still needs to pay for his crimes.
He and the others return to the Wild East. After some discussion, the Wild East declares independence from the rest of the Underground and announces that any human within their borders is under their protection.
Roles
Clover: Unofficial Leader and Human Ambassador
He's at the head of all diplomatic meetings between the Wild East and the Larger Underground. Wants both peace and justice. Is trying to prove humanity isn't bad but is constantly battling his own anger. Still plans to free the five souls. LV 3, 0 EXP
Ceroba: Official Leader
After the Wild East declared its independence, it was made into a Democracy. Ceroba is the current Mayor of the town. Had the Steamworks repurposed to help the residents of the Wild East. Still wants answers about Kanakoe.
Starlo: Head of Law Enforcement and Defence.
Takes his new role very seriously but still goes by North Star. Human-hating extremists from the Larger Underground have sneaked into the Wild East to either sabotage them or steal Clover's soul. Caught the first unlucky bastard trying to kill Clover in his sleep. Doesn't want to risk that happening again.
Martlet: Scout and Mole.
Not an official resident of the Wild East. Still works for the Royal Guard but only to gather intel and have the best possible chance to find a human before someone else and bring them to the Wild East. Unsure if this is the best course of action.

Huge headcannon
Look all I'm saying is that there is some relationships with the main four except for bandana dee and meta knight. Like kirby and bandana are besties, kirby and meta knight are like father and son/mentor and apprentice, kirby and dedede are like besties who act like they hate each other but they love each other in reality, dedede and meta are like the adults/total bros with each other and finally bandana and dedede are the king and servant with both of them willing to give their life for each other. I'm telling you guys, bandana dee is a total fanboy of meta knight. That good boy doesnt have a hammer, he has a spear which is the closest kirby weapon to a sword other than an actual sword. Also mass attack has bandana dee cameo during meta knights boss fight in starlo patrol. Also Bandana boi gushes about how cool and powerful meta knight was in battle royale. Also meta knight is 110% cool with this. In fact, he's like the all might to bandana dee's deku. He supports BD and even trained him to be super strong between super star ultra and return to dreamland. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

*SLAMS HANDS ON TABLE* COWKINGSHIPPING
if you pair this with the 'the main cast has split custody over clover' headcanon it gets funnier
(Spoilers for HH sorta)
*Falls back and hits head on a shelf*
JEEBUS CHRISMOOSE OK-
Welp, there's another name to add to that list of names for this ship-
But oh, that would probably definitely be funny. Clover would basically have 5 adoptive parents, yes, but at same time I feel like there would be moments where Lucifer would have to leave the parenting to Starlo because of the Hotel issues. (*cough cough* the fights against the Angels attacking the Hotel.)
Though, here's something fun to think about, Charlie basically gets the adopted sibling that she's never had before and she gets to be an older sister, so whenever Clover and Starlo come over to their world and come to the Hotel with Lucifer, she is basically the fun sibling with protective sisterly vibes. (Though, she is very careful with them around other demons or any dangerous object in the house, so she tries to think of a way to child proof the entire place so that they don't poke an eye out-)
Lucifer and Starlo would both be the fun dads, but I feel as if Starlo would be the reckless dad and Lucifer would be the more responsible one.
Whenever Lucifer IS able to take his shared custody days with Starlo and isn't having to deal with any issues in Hell or with any Hotel issues, he tries his best to keep his title of "Hell's Greatest Dad." If he's up to it, he'll even sometimes pretend to be a cowboy when Clover asks Demon Dad to play. (Clover calls Lucifer "Demon Dad," "Duck Dad," or "Clown Dad." Just my little thought and headcanon.)
When Clover has to leave, Lucifer would feel disheartened, but he understands that shared custody means shared custody. Though I can see him doing sad puppy eyes the first time Clover has to leave. Like... Clover's his second chance at being an awesome dad, but he only got like a few days with them. When's the next time he's gonna be able to see them again? :( (It's up to what you all think, I feel like it'd be at least one or two weeks for each of them.)
Oh, and Lucifer would give Clover a duck with a bandana and a fake gun the first time they left. Absolutely no changing my thoughts about this. Ceroba, Dalv, and Martlet would even ask Clover where'd they got it and Clover said they got it from Demon Dad. :)
Though on the days when Lucifer can't be there and Starlo and Clover have to stay in The Wild East, Clover is a bit sad that they don't get to see Demon Dad. :(
