“Ow, fuck!”

The exclamation and the clashing of items that followed, perked Gundham’s attention. He scrambled to find his bookmark; it certainly was not the ideal time for it to go missing. After feeling desperately around the sheets, he found it and tucked it away in his book. Sitting the book on the nightstand, he promptly scurried to the kitchen. He nudged the door open and failed to feel surprised by the scene in front of him.

Kazuichi hovered over the sink, gripping his hand. Gundham noticed the gash on his finger and how he held it away from the running water, hesitantly. 

“Kazuichi! What have you done?” Gundham questioned, concern washing over him. He shuffled over to get a better view. The nick didn’t appear to be too distressing, but Kazuichi’s expression would suggest otherwise

He turned, head hanging as he spoke, “I tried to peel an apple, but ended up peeling my finger.” Using the uninjured hand, he turned the sink off. “I know I need to wash it, but it’s gonna hurt! And it already hurts. I’m not tryin’ to make it worse!” 

Gundham shook his head and reached to turn the sink back on. “We are both aware that you must wash it.” 

“I’ll just throw a bandaid on it—” He shrugged as he stepped away from the water. He was far too stubborn for his own good, and Gundham’s liking. 

“You will do no such thing.” Kazuichi acted the same way every time he injured himself. Gundham began to think that perhaps he enjoyed being taken care of. He pulled a chair out from the table and motioned for Kazuichi to sit. 

Souda obliged, sitting and waiting while Gundham fumbled through the cupboards. He searched until he came back to the dining table with a small kit and a wet cloth. “I store these items in the kitchen for a reason.” He sat in a chair, put in front of the other. “Let me see your finger.” 

“Finee, but be gentle.”

Gundham nodded. He used the cloth to wipe the cut clean, continuing despite Kazuichi’s winces of protest. The cloth drug roughly across his skin. He laughed, “Your hands are exceptionally dry. I am not sure how you cut through your leather-like skin with a mere vegetable peeler.”

“Hey! Not nice Gundham.” Kazuichi pouted, “I do a lot with these hands.”

“Even more reason for you to take care of them.” He deadpanned and Kazuichi brushed him off; it was fair, considering Gundham spoke of how rough his hands were each time they touched.  After finishing with the cloth, Gundham found a tube of ointment and applied it liberally on the skin. He then unwrapped a bandage and smoothed it down on his finger. “I have finished. It was not so awful, now was it?”

“Nuh-uh.” Kazuichi grinned, much to Gundham’s dismay. He knew he had dressed the wound in its entirety. “You gotta kiss it better.”

Of course he had to; it was Souda’s only demand with most injuries. After bumping into coffee tables, or being bitten by the devas: Kazuichi always requested a simple kiss to make it better. It felt foolish, but he placed a kiss on top of the bandage. “How could I let something of such importance slip my mind?” 

Kazuichi smiled warmly at his action. Interlocking their finger together, he buzzed,  “Y’know, you’re good at this, Gundy.” 

“Thank you. However, it is truly an effortless task. One could compare it to, peeling apples, perhaps?”

gundham literally wouldn't ask him for his number so he's just,,, hmm. my phone, perhaps i could,, break it again? that is exactly how to form a relationship with the cute repair boy - aahshs, god.

and kaz notices that this kid keeps breaking his absolutely ancient phone,, and has terrible excuses for why it's broken - then realizes what he's up to shsh.

Today marks the day I accidentally unfollowed Ms Broth.... and also my desire to Write but I don’t have Time but Gundham and Kazuichi both wanna propose to each other and Gundham sets up a big whole thing and Kazuichi thinks it would be funny to use a real ridiculous ring and so Gundham proposes at a really pretty fireworks show and then Kaz is all embarrassed and pulls out a box with a Funny Plastic Hamtaro ring in it

My tooorn on the random hc train; hope it's not overwhelming if ur getting too many but fkjdbr I wanted to feel included. So we all know these two are the type to bicker for the sake of attention. But, sometimes Kaz switches it up and praises Gundham's lil caricature situation to the MAX. Pumps into his ego. And it makes Gundham so flustered he cannot revolt, making Kaz feel like he's won. (Plus with time he grew to not hate on Gun's persona cuz it's for coping which is another hc entirely oop)

okay. i apologize if somebody else has said this already - but soudam doing each others makeup?

ahshs. gundham tries to do eyeliner for kaz, but kaz is sh a k ing having someone else that close to his eyes with a sharp pencil. he keeps telling gundham not to poke him in the eye but still won't stop moving. and kaz would do the same for gundham, who is remarkably calmer in the situation. also, both of them just doing the most - fancy eyeliner stars and an excessive amount of blush and glitter hngng. gundham makes souda look like a clown ❤ he loves it.

i have spoke extensively about kazuichi getting piercings and gundham having to hold his hand, but here's a fresh take: kaz warms up to piercings!! he doesn't need gundham to hold his hand, but he still likes it. and he goes to get another and convinces gundham to come with him!! however, gundham is very anxious with piercings. souda offers to hold his hand and gundham accepts not to be rude. of course. not because his heart is beating too fast and he's petrified. not at all. <3

so, i have talked about gundham cutting kazuichi's hair - i would like to add:

gundham dyeing kazuichi's hair,,,

both of them getting absolutely covered in pink hair dye - both because gundham forgot gloves and kazuichi won't stop touching his head,, kaz getting nervous because his hair is the most important thing to him,,, trying to convince gundham to add some pink to hir hair as a change,,, and most importantly: kazuichi bent over the sink while gundham washes the dye out for him? soft ahsh,,

souda definitely always cut his own hair b4 gundam and got mad whenever someone suggested he goes to a barber bc the last time he did years ago they completely ruined his Punk aesthetic so he would never trust anyone with his hair again. until gundam convinces him to help him dye & cut it n he’s like fine...but if u mess it up i’ll fucking, cry. and not talk to u until it grows back out again n gundams like lmao ok Sure my darling pissbaby. aaaah that’s such a cute scenario....love them

god, i feel like the first time gundham cut his hair, he would cringe at every snip of the scissors - afraid that his hair would be ruined.

ultimately, gundham would keep his punk aesthetic in presteige condition - which lkely wasn’t difficult because it is intentionally Messy. kaz would definetly stay wary about it though - ahshs i love this

hi, random hc time!! i like to think that gundham does a lot of reading in his spare time, especially fantasy novels (stories in the genre are smth he can get invested in very quickly). i aallssoo think that kaz is someone who can unintentionally overwork himself because he'll just get so focused on what hes working on. So I showed that sketch to my brother and told him that Gundham isn’t good at cutting hair and he said “what about his own hair though?” and then thought for a minute before adding, “Does his mom always cut his hair for him?” And I think maybe that’s the sweetest thing,, Kazuichi going to meet Gundhams mom and she says they should stay overnight and they do one of those braid trains where Kaz is in the front and Momma Tanaka is in the back,,,

i headcanon that Ms. Tanaka is just like,, the best mom - that she just wants to be there for her son and make him happy. i think that their relationship would be Very close - and he'd be the type of guy to sit in with his mom rather than go out most of the time.

but Yesssss. i hc that kaz likes to change up his look semi-often. i love classic punk aesthetic kaz but - there's so many endlessly possiblities for kazuichi.

i also want him to change his style and have it be positive - unlike the first time.

and gundham, mr. Goth Until I Die, wouldn't be used to all of these c h a n g e s. i love it ahshs.
