im honestly about to delete tiktok because i just had one of those ridiculous "romanticizing 2014" videos on my page again and all the comments were like ohhh i wish i was a teenager during this time but i was only 8 (it literally went down to as young as i was only four like WHAT) this app seems full of fucking children for one and second of all it was fucking NINE YEARS AGO and theyre acting like it was god knows how long like calm the fuck down also this is exactly the problem resulting in ageism because they all keep acting like the tiniest time differences are SOOO long ago and thats why they make people in their mid-later 20s or 30s already feel ancient ive talked about the crazy new ageism thats going on there before its fucking sick

#also i was 17/18 during that year and it was AWFUL and ugly as fck and i have not once seen a MINUTE of pretty little liars #never went to starbucks ONCE #and also didnt own uggs or anything victorias secret #it didnt even OCCUR TO ME #because i was already shitdeep to my neck in my era struggle (which was mainly for the 60s and 70s only still by that point) during 2014 #like i already mentally checked out from this dumbass time and generation #the music was so shitty and the youth culture already so dumb there was just nothing there
