drafting a longer post explaining why i think ppl justifying ignoring the fact that william is canonically fat from a purely character design centered lense in slightly more detail, but in essence i think ppl underestimate what Good character design rlly is and also SEVERELY underutilize fashion in their designs as well.

Williams whole mysterious n spooky shtick can easily be achieved by a very simple but deliberate choice in wardrobe alone,,

#and and also ppl not using the combination of style and shape language to their advantage in this context too #it just makes me extremely sad when ppl use the guise of character design principles to excuse and cover up very blantant fatphobia/#-fatphobic stereotypes #<- which is essentially literally all that this is obv. if ppl actually genuinely cared abt the character design angle they wouldnt be so #stupid abt it sighs. but i digress...#i also just like to disprove stupid takes on things im knowledgeable of. lol 😁
