if i were a parent im not sending my kid to a religious boarding school that they have to live in for years lol
#ignorelist#sorry as much as they always sound friendly and always promote activity that seems great but no#there are many way that shit could be the fucking worse thing ever#who fucking knows maybe that shit would be a cult hidden in action#especially if the parent cannot visit like at all#sometimes i like thank god#i didnt get send to one#cause i would've been very fucking horrible there too#well i was almost send to one#doesnt mean they're all bad though#but they're not perfect either#its not christianity school#its islamic#there are some that are genuine because some people do fr uphold islam moral and do fear god which is great#also how the school works is that#well it operate like any other school but it is very very islamic focused with making praying reading qur-an mandatory for class passing#and boys and girls is seperated with no contancts whatsoever allowed#since you live in the school too you have to be forced to take care of yourself and even the quality of your room#like cleaning ur bed brushing your toilet you gotta take turn with ur roomates#personally i would teach my own kid my religion#because hey thats a great bonding experience but whatever#some parents these day are too lazy to do that anyway and want people to take care of their children for them#also forgot to say most pesantren is usually a girl only school btw
