just saw MULTIPLE reviews of hyperion that said it is the canterbury tales of space and GOOD GOD NO WONDER I HATED IT SO MUCH FUCK THE CANTERBURY TALES FUCK CHAUCER IM STILL TRAUMATIZED BY THAT SHIT

#and by traumatized i mean i had to read the canterbury tales for my hs senior ap lit class and do a WHOLE 20 min presentation on it #and MY GOD i hated it #it was SO AWFUL #sooooo hard to get through and just SO BAD #and it was even worse bc everyone in the class got a different book so i was the only one doing it!!!#and honestly in hindsight I TOTALLY SEE IT #THAT BOOK WAS THE CANTERBURY TALES OF SPACE #AND IT SUCKED EPICALLY #mack rambles #hyperion #so many people rave over how good it is and i just. did we read the same book?????#bc i do not DO NOT understand how anyone could read it and think it was GOOD
