||Sometimes I think about that the concept of romantic love is terrifying for Dan Feng. It's not the case of just he doesn't realize he's in love until after the fact. But how deeply it runs in his veins and leaves a void in his heart aching to be filled by that person alone.

He knows his love is unhealthy. The need to have that person within his sight at all times. A possessive hand on them or tail curling around their ankles. To want to be their everything in ways he hasn't thought about before. It's obsessive, addicting, and horribly unhealthy.

Dan Feng doesn't want to think about how far he will go just to make sure they're safe. And what happens if they die right in front of him.

It's not good. Never good thoughts.

And he doesn't want to scare them, to see fear and disgust in their eyes if they look at him. So Dan Feng does his best to curb such thoughts and instinctive needs to overwhelm them with his love.

He is understanding, patient, and respectful of their need for personal space. He will dote on them and care for them, and make sure they are beloved by him. He wants them to know he loves them and let him know you feel the same in return. Then maybe the thoughts running through his head will stop when the void in his heart is filled...
