Nvm i think ren does find love at old age
#i think he would like to find it sooner and have lovers but he his adventurous spirit make him leave home a lot#never in one area for a long time but he does go home and he'll just end up with whoever is there waiting for him one day#i think he'd appreciate it that after all rhis time they are still there as his body becomes weak beside them and then he will settle down#i want to believe he will be happy one day and have many stories to tell them and he will bring them with him for one last trip and then#they will die together under the same roof different time with their ashes scattered to the sea where their aether mix together one last#and part ways forever on to the next life and adventure#irrevelant but i think the person who help burnt their ashes released them in a area close to the sea and trees then left their bonded#earrings on the ground on top of a tree sapling unbeknownst that it would be entwined in the tree trunk giving it an unnatural sturdiness#and growth which decades later one would be awestruck by its grandness so much so that it would be worshipped and deified#the end the legacy of a catboy made of light stone and the sea#ren
