people actually forget that phones before smartphones didnt have headphone jacks!!! like all those nokias youre nostalgic about and my old ass sony ericsson phone that opened by rotating that even tho it branded itself as a walkman phone you had to use a clunky ass adapter in the charging port. (although it did come with it when you bought it, at least.) iphone giveth iphone taketh away i guess

#DISCLAIMER im not actually sure that apple was the first ones to put an earphone jack on a phone i do not want to give them credit for that #am i too lazy to look it up tho? yes #and honestly this is a mega unpopular opinion but i actually love wireless earbuds #i DONT love that youre forced to use them #i believe more options is always better #but ppl shit on them for no reason #i bought cheapo xiaomi ones that were like 15 bucks or something and i never have to deal with my cat trying to chew them ever again #and getting your earbuds unexpectedly pulled out bc you walked too far away from ur pc by accident is top 50 worst feelings ever #but yeah stop it with 'breeding phones to lose the earbud jack trait is abusive and evil' its not true!!#THIS is natural to them. its inconvenient to YOU #the phones are fine. whether or not bringing back their more wild traits from before they were domesticated makes them worse as pets #is a different matter entirely
