Anyways I know nothing about the economy and like inflation and stuff
But I am very curious of how the death of rex lapis effects the price of the mora
And im also curious about the possibility of forged mora after rex lapis' death because rex lapis is no longer there to continue production of the mora and therefore the economy is going to be ruined right. Cause like legitimate rex lapis mora price will go up but also merchants will have to be more focused on the possibility of counterfeits and they will have to discover a way to sus out fakes. Real mora must weigh a specific amount and fakes can't be made of the same material rex lapis used so it should have a different weight or density or even like hardness level.
Also maybe the Liyue government makes an executive decision to produce mora but because they cannot reproduce any of rex lapis made mora that mora goes up in value and the mora they make is like kinda like equivalent of lesser amounts and they have different titles.
Maybe the Liyue government encourages to switch the currency to a more produce able currency with the death of the only person who can make the money. So they like mine ore and cast it into different coins or they decide to switch over to paper currency.
Please I need like the in depth lore about what the mora is made out of and what happens to the economy after the death of rex lapis. This is a very specific topic of information that I need to know but the game doesn't talk about
#genshin impact#PLEASE#i need every drop of lore so i can create stories in my head and i cant do that if i have to sit here for the next hour wondering economics#also this had sent me into a spiral again#spiral about how much i hate banks and how they and the government and big corps just decide like the value of paper you get for your work#and how its basically meanlingless and has destroyed trading things for real thing. you no longer appreciate things and know its real value#and that's cause you can only measure value based off a bank note
