Hmm it definitely requires some retooling for the story and I’m not fully on board because some aspects of the story don’t completely make sense if I go this route, but for my hero and partner oc team for psmd I’m considering having hero also be a reincarnation, and they get found and raised by Nuzleaf as a baby and they move to Serene Village at the start of the story

#just bc im not fond of the ‘’adult in a kids body’’ implication #and i like this because nuzleafs plot then becomes so much more raw for the hero #maybe even give nuzleaf some conflicting feelings. maybe he wasnt affected by dark matter when he adopted hero #but it could also be a situation where he took them in solely for the purpose of finding the spring but got attached #and i like that! its fucked up but i like it and god that context with the epilogue aughhhhh #but then… where the hell does that leave the beheeyem bc theyre the whole reason the pair run away to lively town #i could tweak the reason they go but i like the beheeyem and their potential bond with nuzleaf #and i think cutting to them being the ones who were ‘’guiding’’ the expedition society in the ruins is SO effective #so i dont just want to take away their role as minor villains #also the question of ‘’how would hero know that theyre human?’’ maybe i could parallel it with partner learning their true identity at the e #end by having hero accidentally get some of their memories back at the start?#and getting them back early distresses them or something?#maybe they arent even raised by nuzleaf but he finds them in the woods and takes them to serene village like canon #aughhh idk im not set on it. maybe itll be an au if it gets canon divergent enough #echoed voice #pmd posting
