DOYOUNG’S FAMILY

here’s the guide into doyoung’s small family! this one is shorter than the others because he only has one son (for now lol)

KIM DOYOUNG

he has one son (and one on the way) named kim minyoung. kim minyoung is born in the first gen of kids (along with yoojin, noah, lei, etc.)

he is doyoung’s son

period.

he looks just like doyoung

like the only thing he inherited from you was his ear shape

everything else is doyoung

he has smooth cheeks

a gummy smile

a really big mouth

he had the sweetest voice as a baby

even when he cried

oh no

but when he cried

he CRIED

taeil came in and was just like “sound proof your house.... it’s so much easier...”

so he listened lol

minyoung had a pair of lungs on him

it’s crazy

like you’re confused with how a tiny little being can be that gosh darn loud

he like wasn’t a super dramatic baby

he was needy about the normal amount

minyoung wasn’t too difficult of a baby

the hardest thing you had to deal with was the fact that he was so lout

doyoung is honestly a really good dad

like he’s more of the disciplinary type

so you have more room to be the chill type if you’d like

but your son would look up at you two with the sweetest eyes

and your heart would melt every time

he was pretty decent with strangers

he wasn’t the most outgoing

he wasn’t really flirty either

he was kinda more on the chill side

his eyes were honestly the cutest

second to taeyong’s son, youngchul

like youngchul’s eyes looks like they held the whole universe

minyoung’s eyes has the most endearing shape

their battles started early lol

minyoung’s cheeks were so stretchy as a baby

like you and doyoung would just play with them all the time

he was such a smart kid tho

like he could already formulate full sentences at the age of 2

and his pronunciation was pretty good

of course, he did have a little bit of the baby talk

but everyone thought it was so adorable how well he talked

he honestly wasn’t too difficult of a baby

he had a little bit of a prince mentality because of he is an only child

there is one on the way tho lol

honestly, just a happy prince who gave you and doyoung a plethora of gummy smiles

he was pretty chill

he was kinda crazy tbh

he’s best friends with taeyong’s oldest son, lee youngchul

their friendship is just like taeyong and doyoung’s lol

they’re honestly brothers at this point

like youngchul is over at your house so often, you guys have a bed set up for him lol

you don’t mind, you’re honestly really glad your son has such a close friend that he loves like a brother

minyoung is really studious during school

but when it’s play time

it’s freaking play time

he’s full of so much energy during play time

he loved to yell

like that was his major thing

when he couldn’t comprehend when it was okay to yell

he would yell during the most inappropriate times

he learned eventually tho, dw

but like

he had a set of lungs on him

he has his dad’s eyes

his dad’s smile

his dad’s nose

his dad’s lips

you literally birthed a doyoung clone

the only thing that he got from you was his ears and food preference

his favorite animal is a bunny

it’s because everyone said he looked like one so he kinda just went with it

he isn’t huge on skinship tho

if it’s with you or doyoung, he doesn’t mind it too much

but he isn’t one of the cuddliest of the bunch

he’ll cuddle you if he’s scared or sad

he’s also pretty smart

like he is really book smart

he was so pollite too

after he got over the “yelling while excited” thing

he became one of the most polite kids

like one time (in a return of the superman type scenario), minyoung and youngchul got lost when taeyong sent them on an errand

and youngchul started to cry because he was scared

but minyoung handled it calmly and was even able to calm down youngchul

they went together to the camera man and asked if he could use his phone to call his dad

he’s the type of kid to know your number by heart, doyoung’s number by heart, his grandparents, aunties, uncles, etc.

he has a really good memory

all throughout school, minyoung had no issue with listening to teachers

he always was a straight A student

he was a pretty responsible prince from an early age

he is a little lonely tho

when he found out that you were expecting

he was over the moon

he started cleaning his room and everything

he was really caring for you when you were pregnant

minyoung would watch what doyoung would do whenever you were nauseous or hungry

and he would follow his dad

when doyoung would go on tour or be working late, minyoung would make tea and snacks for you without even asking

he’s honestly just the best boy

he has a godly voice just like his dad

he becomes a music artist

his voice is so powerful

he’s like dean tbh

his voice isn’t like dean’s, but his energy is like dean’s

I don’t know how to explain it lol

like he’s as popular as dean is

but his vibe is different

he collabs with other artists a lot

he also collabs with moon seojoon, taeil’s son and a fellow artist

he never wanted to join a group and he enjoys being a solo artist

he also likes to work with qian lei, kun’s daughter who is a well known song writer

he’s a genuinely good dude

he can be a little sassy at times

but he is really caring

he’s apart of the first gen of kids along with noah seo, moon yoojin, nakamoto akari, etc. (i’ll post a list of all of the kids who are the same age and stuff like that :)

honestly, his personality is a lot like doyoung’s

he’s honestly such a gorgeous human being too

he’s not super into working out and stuff

but he says healthy

he loves to eat a lot

like a lot a lot

but his metabolism is so fast

he’s really really good at captivating the camera

he’s a true gentleman too

like have you seen that video of jinyoung from got7 blocking a fellow star when she checks her dress so she isn’t filmed?

that’s the sort of things minyoung does

he doesn’t really have time for girls tbh

a lot of people want to date him tho

because he’s so gosh darn pretty

his smile can cure cancer

it’s so contagious

but when he’s on stage doing a certain concept?

he owns that concept

he’s a pretty cool older brother to everyone

people go to him for like advice about school and stuff

he’s really professional

he also doesn’t really like to use his status as a celebrity

minyoung prefers the lowkey life

he’s the best at keeping secrets

and giving surprises

nothing phases him either

like he can easily walk through haunted houses

he doesn’t get scared easily

he loves to tease all of his younger siblings

(btw, when i say younger siblings, i mean like, the entirety of nct’s babies)

honestly, he’s just a really cool older brother that everyone goes to for all of their general problems

he listens and he cares

a wholesome, trustworthy celebrity :)
