Man you ever realise how much stuff you grew up with inspired the content you like nowadays?

Like I know where some of my interests stem from anyway, but I just found yet another thing from my childhood that inspired my tastes in hindsight. Worst part is I didn't even realise it until now as it's not directly obvious gahhhh

#In this case I'm talking about content that makes you feel unexpectedly. Mostly through atmosphere but sometimes also context #Things that look lighthearted on the surface but are actually sad/serious/scary my beloved #Thinking abt this after listening to the OST of Spore Creatures (DS game) which has some pretty atmospheric music. Some of it unnerving #And it reminded me that entire chunks of that game feel weirdly isolating and lonely despite the visuals and ya know. Being a kids game #and idk add that in with things like Ecco the Dolphin/Drawn to Life/Twilight Princess/parts of Pokemon Plat. and MGS2 #There's probably a bunch of other things that added to my love of this stuff. Annoying I'm still finding more content to add to that list #exa mutters:
