You know, the same people who complain about fans wanting a more complex Zelda story would laud the fanmade romhacks, but only as long as brown people are still the villains to make it easy on them
#idk how many fanfics just default to making the Gerudo the villains#or Ganondorf is just a sadistic man who tortures people for funsies#and does nothing but sit in his chair sipping wine while people fight to the death#and if it isn’t Ganondorf it’s an obvious Ganondorf expy#and that apparently is enough for these people#‘yes the Sheikah have these fucked up rituals we made up to fuel our angst’#and that’s supposed to justify the royal family using them to do their dirty work???#‘I want a simple black and white story’ it’s okay sweetie just say you can’t think critically
