Some kickstarter guidelines for the newly tinitiated:

Your card will not be charged until the end of the campaign on March 2nd (IF the goal is reached). If you’re waiting on a paycheck, you can still back now!

You can change your pledge amount and tier at any time during the campaign. If you’re waiting to see how much you can give but you can back a little now, do it! Small amounts help and backer number is important too. The momentum in the first few days is crucial!

Only back what you can afford. As we saw in the stream yesterday, it sucks for them to lose big pledges

Likewise, when they start setting mini goals and doing incentives, don’t raise your pledge just to go back down afterwards! Only increase if you plan to actually give that amount

#i was getting mad this morning about the difference in treatment for sk and tcb kickstarters #especially how awful people were about the wwg one when i could understand the whole time what was happening and why #meanwhile the sk returns ks was supposed to be wrapped up last year #but the last update we got was 8 months ago :)#and this is not even a dig at sk i appreciate they were doing a lot #the double standard just enrages me #so i’m trying to channel that energy into a successful tinlightenment ks amen #and if sk can well exceed their 275k goal then we can exceed this one
