I already knew about Lady Maria and Friede before I played the games. Though Maria was from a no commentary playthrough so I was introduced to her fight as if I were playing the game. And I was immediately obsessed because, me.

But might as well get to know the latest Fromsoft lady that's making gamers everywhere miserable.

#currently obsessed with Mistral from revengeance so you know. This is a thing I do #I don't think Maria made people as miserable as Ludwig did #hunter battles are rough but they're a different kind of rough #and if you're good at parrying it's apparently easy-ish #looking at blind playthroughs absolutely Ludwig curbstomped people more than Maria #not that she isn't hard lol #but she's much easier to read compared to snarling horse boy #they did a really good job of making the orphan of Kos fight like both a hunter and a beast #which was almost certainly intentional #he's 'small' and attacks with a weapon and can be parried but he has the frenzied wild element of a beast l #the constant screaming and the emotion. Sounding so pathetic when you stagger him #sorry. got lost in how good Bloodborne is
