After thinking about pomskies I got curious so googled breeders for funsies and YIKES. It's too bad. If anyone comes across any pomski breeders that DON'T have a dozen red flags on their website pls lmk.
#barkin up some trees#one of them said puppies are spayed/neutered at 10 weeks old before they go home 🤢#big fucking NO#another one said they are genetically tested (with embark)#only embark#like thats not......enough#im all for mixes and i dont hate designer breeds#but i wish it was easier to find people that are doing it more ethically#i found ONE that seems okay from their website#but im sure if i emailed them id find out some things i don't like#but also a lot of them are charging like 3k minimum for puppies#which is a LOT for a mixed breed without health testing#i wouldnt pay that much for any dog without health testing#idk theyre just so appealing#i like smaller dogs and i love huskies#and poms are nice#but poms arent quite what i want in a dog#and im gonna be real honest i do think a pomski is what i want
