To the true Justice Society aficionado, the post-1950 comics are diminishing shock waves of the thunderous earthquake which was the 1940s All-Star Comics. Some later entries may be debatably better than the Fox/Kanigher/Broome issues -- or they may be arguably worse -- but they can be never be as authentic as the originals, any more than Dino DeLaurentiis’ King Kong or the David Soul Casablanca TV series can be.
