Violet remembered calling it chai tea once when she a child, the way the chain coffee shop near her house had it listed on the menu, until her dad had gently corrected her and told her chai and tea meant the same thing in different languages, so she was technically calling the drink tea tea. She also remembered Xaden laughing heartily when she told him the story early on in their relationship.
