I just think the idea that it is a guy and has lushous locks and emerald green eyes and Asami (still being alive) either being keenly aware of the avatar face stealing rumor and aware he looks like a dude version of her or in flat denial of it. Completely oblivious. (Or pretending to be just to screw with people)
