man. now that i think about it. crisis core sure did do that to zack's potential as a character huh
#listen. i respect the creators' original vision. however#i also firmly believe that their vision was stupid af.#zack had so much potential to be an interesting character with his own motivations and goals and agency#and then angeal hewley happened with his dreams and honor bs... and it all went downhill from there.#and that's the thing!!! the potential is still there!! all zack has to do is realize that angeal was talking out of his ass#and that genesis was a lunatic and didn't need to be taken seriously#and that he can make his own goddamn decisions without having to consult spectres of a bygone era of insanity.#babygirl they are a terrible influence on you. break free. you are so close to the epiphany come onnnn.#sigh. oh well. canon and fanon zack are different out of necessity and i love and loathe them both for many reasons.#but man. canon zack needs a push. rebirth ALMOST had it too. so damn close yet so far away.#rant over it's one of those mornings folks. happy wednesday. sparkle on!#zack fair#ffvii
