✨ Biography:

Blaise has always wanted a life with flair. He didn’t care about money or fame but he knew from a young age he wanted a fun and fulfilling life. His parents were modest people. He was very close to his mother growing up as he was often helping her cook in the kitchen. She taught him all of the family recipes, how to bake, and they pretty much cooked dinner every night together. Once his father was home and they all ate together life felt fine, but it also felt so...bland. Sure, he loved cooking and stuff with his mom. Those are some of the most important memories he has. There just wasn’t much excitement in life. So, in high school he changed that. He started rebelling, acting out, and engaging in the ‘finer’ things in life. Sex and alcohol became his new codependences. He often snuck out at night, would go to college parties, and sneak home drunk. He wasn’t very good at sneaking back in though. He was often caught and grounded but that didn’t stop him. Eventually he got so caught up in having fun that things started to become strained at home. He was always fighting with his mother these days, their bond slowly deteriorating, and he pretty much shut his father out. He hadn’t expected tragedy to come. See, Blaise thought he was pretty much invincible as a teenager. Then one night after a fight with his mother he stormed out, stayed at a friend’s, and didn’t come home till morning. HIs mother went out looking for him but was killed on site in a car accident. He was devastated, of course, but he was also incredibly guilty. He was the reason his mother was out late at night and that was something he’d have to live with for his entire life. He dove right back into his bad habits and partied until morning just to numb the pain. In the process he met a gorgeous girl at a party that would quickly become his first love, and lose her to another girl at a different party years later. Things were messy but then they got worse.

Blaise’s best friend was Claude Cogsworth. The two brought the good out in each other, but there was also their friend Adam. He was the son of Blaise’s mother’s boss. One night Adam was throwing a party and a freak storm hit. Later on in the night an old woman came to the door asking for shelter and Adam all but slammed the door in her face. Blaise told him to have some more manners and let her in but it was too late. The deed was done. It seemed like everyone blacked out and Blaise was the first to really snap out of the trance. He noticed where his friend had been there was now a horribel beast standing there! One thing led to another and he was hurt. People were running for their lives and the next morning he woke up in the hospital with a scar on his chest. The party had landed on a full moon and the next time one came around the same thing happened to Adam. It was clear he was cursed but Blaise never even thought of magic until someone proposed the possibility of it. Over time people began to realize their curse though. Blaise caught onto his fairly quick. He lost his sense of taste. This was difficult because he loved cooking and his job was culinary director of Adam’s restaurant chain. Blaise loved what he did. He created recipes and tasted new food all the time. Now that he couldn’t taste anything though he felt lost. Then Adam introduced him to Belle. She was a breath of fresh air and the key to breaking this curse, Blaise just knew it! It was just a gut feeling though. He still works for Adam but the company profits are declining because he can’t come up with decent recipes. So, most days he feels drained while putting on a perfectly happy facade that makes him seem like his old, typical self.

Hans Westergaard: Outside of his close circle of friends Blaise enjoys spending time with Hans. The two party together and play wingman to each other to help them pick up girls. They aren’t close but Blaise does love hanging out with him.

Celine Potts: Blaise adores her. She’s probably one of the best influences in his life and he holds her very dearly to his heart.

Bimbette sisters: He thinks they’re so dreamy. He doesn’t understand why the pine after that slimy Gaston when Blaise is clearly right there.
