i’m really not liking the midnightsification of 1989 tv

like for me (and from what i thought taylor said) the main goal for the taylor’s versions was to own her own music but not necessarily profit

midnights was a whole new album so i completely understand why she went so hard on the vinyl variations for more sales and to go towards records

but the taylor’s versions weren’t really supposed to be that, like having songs exclusively on vinyl/cd to push sales especially for 1989 tv doesn’t really sit right with me because that wasn’t supposed to be the point :/
