Me: my mom is improving, she's becoming more open minded 🤗
Also mom: manages to fill me with shame and embarrassment for wanting a haircut, just like the good ol' days 🙃
#this happens everytime#and then i have doubts#and lose confidence#but i know what i want#i've been wanting it for a long time#but when i finally muster the courage to bring it up and take action and show my ideas immediate regret#but then when it finally does happen its rly not a big deal so WHY#why make me feel so bad when we've been here countless times before and habe survived the outcome#if you're so embarassed of me don't worry we're still in quarintine and no one has to aasociate you with me#i've noticed in my own camera roll i take more pictures when i have shorter hair and i post more#its obvious i wont regret it its not my first rodeo#it's my first time FINALLY using a male model for the cut cuz im just tired#its impossible to find a female short hairstyle that suits my hair#and most of them are HELLA styled and I dont style my hair so...#whats the difference if the face under the hair is more masculine?#like the fact that i have a backup female pic (the one I've resorted to for several years) is just WHATS THE DIFFERENCE#the cut never ends up like the pic anyway#i'm not gunna suddenly grow a peen the styles are literally not that different#and the fact that I always have the strategy of wearing my tightest most clothes when i get a haircut#that way the stylist wont be afraid of going too short#like dang what do I have to do next? wear makeup to make it more obvious?#im just tired#to most ppl getting a haircut is just a simple erand but for me its always been a whole circus act#and im too nervous to go by myself to a hair place like i just never have and i cant explain what i want without fear#this is why i need a friend who is a hair stylist#sigh#anyway i just got to grit my teeth and push through like always till tomorrow finally happens#then i can forget about it all till the next time i need a haircut#which will probably be before june cuz there's NO WAY im taking a pic with jenmish with long hair i wont like NO WAY#mine
