you do not understand how unhinged i am about aphelios lore you do NOT get it
#its the fact he doesnt believe himself worthy to exist as a human#the way aphelios and alune were born knowing they were destined to do great things#that they were born and right out the gate people were telling them what their fate was#that they were weapons NEEDED by THEIR PEOPLE because they were being killed in a religious war#like i sit and think abt how aphelios and alune have been training their WHOLE LIVES to protect their people because of religious difference#and the fact that aphelios started (or has depending on ur view on his character backstory) to lose his faith in their god#like aphelios a warrior of the moon living to defend his people and ennact justice as the weapon of the faithful#losing his faith to a god or being he doesnt really believe in any more#but he feels trapped and obligated to continue doing his job because who will he become if hes no longer the very foundation of his being#aphelios#aphelios lol#league of legends
