idk i think in fandom spaces, we do have a duty to keep ai out of it. ai generated fic and ai art and ai edits all contribute to the culture of “artists do not matter” and i do think it reflects your values, even if you aren’t making money off it. you care about being able to Consume The Content over the craft of it all, the storytellers, and artists. it’s brushing aside fandom creators in favor of being able to consume consume consume and suck it dry and abandon it in favor of something new and shiny. i do find it revealing if you insist you should be able to consume limitlessly without caring about who makes the thing.
