helppp i saw a most tragic character poll where one of the matchups was shadow the hedgehog vs luz theowlhouse and you could just tell that none of the people voting for luz actually know anything about shadow because they were all in the notes saying stuff like Guys please vote for luz she has trauma. and she had to go through all that when she was only a teenager . its so sad shadow has nothing on her. as if all of their arguments dont also apply to shadow

#and the propaganda for shadow was like. a long ass paragraph over triple the length of the propaganda for luz #(and it still somehow didnt even get into ALL the messed up stuff thats happened to shadow just a decent chunk of it)#as someone who knows both characters. shadow is the clear winner here no question you guys are just voting for the one you like more #and there were also people going ''umm how is luz losing to a hedgehog . dont let this happen'' which is like #the way every time a sonic character is winning in a poll people in the notes who dont really know them always go #''ummmm theyre just a hedgehog how are they winning '' is so annoying #like we get it you only see sonic characters as meme mascots #and refuse to acknowledge that theres like . actually very interesting and heartfelt stories and characters in sonic media #and that some of the stories go into darker subject matter . like the stuff involving shadow for example. whatever .
