it makes so much sense for me to get tired when my blood sugar is high but somehow the correlation of sleepiness and high blood sugar only occurred to me like. thirteen years into living with diabetes

#wow #anyway i was at the rock climbing gym just getting more and more tired i was literally yawning every five minutes #so i decided to go home feeling absolutely out of it and kinda fog-brained and exhausted #and then i get home and measure my blood sugar and im like. at 400 mg/dl #which is INSANE i haven't been that high in years almost i'd say #and idk why? i was fine before i left? a little low even? so i had some biscuits because i knew i'd be doing sports?#but even if that was a miscalculation i shouldn't have gone over 250 or something #hm 😐#anyway the insulin is in me now all i can do is wait and feel utterly drained heh #emma talks #diabetic problems
