If it’s alright, then more headcanons about Chaldea’s Unofficial Mom Association adopting Asclepius please??

ABSOLUTELY (Some of these are gonna be slightly Mother’s Day centered even though the day has passed already it’s fine)

Mother’s Day wasn’t a thing back when Asclepius was alive, so becoming a servant and finding out it had become a national, yearly holiday initially just made him go “well damn that kinda sucks” and didn’t think much of it since at the time he was summoned the next time said holiday came around was a year away, he had more important things to focus on at the time and honestly forgot about it

Chiron has secretly been Worried Centaur Dad™️ since he found out about the holiday as well and knew Asclepius in particular was probably gonna have a hard time once it came around, and honestly had plans to spend the day with Asclepius to try and make sure he wasn’t feeling too down about the whole thing (basically Chiron is the best dad ever and has a special attachment to Asclepius since he literally raised him from a newborn thank you for coming to my ted talk)

BUT THEN. Europa is summoned to Chaldea a few months later, and of course her first natural instinct is to start Mom’ing those she recognizes, but particularly the Greek servants. Asclepius is among them and at first he’s VERY averse to the idea of her calling him her “grandson” and trying to fuss over him, he’s a grown adult and is very well adjusted thank you very much he doesn’t need someone to take care of him. Of course Europa doesn’t care and continues to mom him until Asclepius finally caves and is able to admit to himself that okay damn this is actually really nice and something he’s needed for a really long time. (The breaking point was when he finally let Europa give him a big ol mama bear hug and he will never admit to a single soul that he may or may not have teared up over it) Europa continues on as usual and is ecstatic over his sudden change of heart and becoming less stubborn about this

I don’t really have much in depth to add to this one at this point in time cause no thoughts head empty but that comic with Chacha and Asclepius I posted about earlier..... there’s something extremely poetic about both of them losing someone who was “burned by the sun” (Asclepius’ mother being killed by Apollo, the sun god, Chacha losing her son to raging flames). They each give something to the other that they’ve been missing and filling a void the other didn’t realize was there and I just think it’s neat. Also I’m crying.

I’m putting Artemis here because she was basically the only older female figure he had in his life growing up, and I’m sure she cares a lot more for him than she lets on. Aaaaand as much as she hates Asclepius calling her “Auntie” she will allow it one (1) time on Mother’s Day because yes okay that’s what she is to Asclepius and she likely helped raise him so she feels Responsible for him

I don’t see Asclepius interacting with Raikou much honestly ? The Potential is there but generally I don’t see their personalities mashing super well, especially considering Raikou’s Madness Enhancement. But, that doesn’t mean that Asclepius hasn’t been caught up in a stray hug or two after patching her up after a fight, he doesn’t really try to fight it and he convinces himself it’s because she would absolutely beat him in a fight and not because the maternal attention is nice, however misguided.

Irisviel is another one I don’t see him interacting with often, if at all, but I see her being really sensitive to other’s emotions? She always picks up on the very minuscule pang of envy/sadness when Asclepius notices any of the mother servants interacting with their kids/those they raised, and a part of her wishes she could do something to alleviate that, but she doesn’t tend to act on those thoughts due to the Holy Grail influencing her personality.

Mother’s Day rolls around and Asclepius is absolutely being fawned over by Europa and Chacha in particular, and he’s just ??? What is happening ??? Artemis thinks it’s the cutest thing and joins in, and basically Asclepius is just in a Mom Sandwich the whole day despite his halfhearted protests. Chiron is extremely happy about this turn of events, and Europa eventually ropes him into spending the day with them as well because she’s going to mom him too goddamnit they’re one big happy family
