One thing that’s been fascinating as an adult with PTSD is hearing about other people’s childhoods and being like “oh so what I went through WASNT normal and has made my perspective on life very different from others”

#about a month ago in one of my classes we had like a ‘how to apply for jobs’ day #and they polled the class like ‘raise your hand if you’ve accessed (insert job website)’ or applied to one of them #and I was pretty much the only one who’s done any of it #bc while my peers still haven’t done any searching like that I’ve been applying for stuff since February/March #not bc I think I’m better than them or anything #but bc I am so trauma ridden that I want to move away as far as possible as soon as possible #truly ideal would be if I am in another country by 2025 #bc even tho moving so far away wouldn’t make all of that go away overnight #I think it would be helpful to have a truly clean slate like that #(problem is a lot of places don’t want to sponsor a visa but whatevs)#tracking tag #rambling
