#op#i just love seeing stuff that reminds me of me. bc im awesome.#secret reason: soup craves community from people who come from their culture especially older people#because they feel disconnected from the solidarity that comes with growing up around people like you#and this summer when they actually literally met queer family it was insane and they miss them so much#and they sometimes wish their parents hadn't moved to america#and they wish they were fluent in taiwanese and mandarin (and sometimes that they didn't speak english at all)#but shh. that's a secret don't tell anyone
