thursday album rankings are always funny for me. as a bit of a full collapse hater. who has seen the entirety of full collapse like two whole entire times in concert.
#i just think waitings energy is better while watt is musically and conceptually much stronger.#fc also has the worst thursday song on it#i feel very similarly with common existence tho. city is an interesting and ambitious change of sound#while no dev is that post rock style with the change in lyric-vocal-instrument writing fully realized#(iirc geoff had started a hands off approach. letting the band write music before adding lyrical imput. with common existence#and to me its th records main flaw- akeard phrasing the music and vocals somtimes seem out of step not my fav lyrics#no dev continues that but its better/more cohesive in just about every single way)#ANYWAY. good band#my posts
