economics is the worst subject to have as a leftist
#GOD the assignment I'm working on rn#it literally starts with saying that ppl care more about sustainable agricultural practices is a problem#and we're supposed to discuss whether products from conventional (unsustainable) agricultural practice should be more expensive#but the statement we're supposed to discuss does not mention where that extra money would GO#like would it just continue to line the pockets of the rich companies trying to monopolise the farming market that have been slowly pushing#small businesses into ruin?#then OBVIOUSLY NOT#but is it supposed to make farmers work more sustainably? then yes#and we have a list of things we're supposed to consider in making our decision and one of them is the unemployment rate and relative povert#but that does not matter AT ALL#bc I know germans love to complain but the truth is that no one in this country would be unable to afford food if the prices rose a little#and I know that germans feel unnecessarily entitled to cheap meat but they absolutely are not#you will not die if you can't eat meat twice a day anymore#ughhhhhh but I can't write it like this bc my teacher would hate me
