Tord randomly wakes up in some fantasy world and is tasked as the chosen one to save the world by killing the Entity of Destruction "or some shit." also he finds fantasy versions of his friends bc why not. theyre in need of a damage dealer since Tom is Unreliable soooo Tord gets recruited for Adventures. or Adventure idk they might die immediately that sounds realistic for them

That's actually a question that goes a lot deeper than you think for Tord's characterization and his background I've given him for pretty much the some reason of he's become my comfort character accidentally, but to keep that ten hour rant that is bound to get off track short:

They're cowlicks :) and for Tori, depending on if she's in the same timeline as Tord (like Tori from the mirror reason versus Tori who can directly interact with Tord), I have hers vary

Tori has the same cowlicks in the mirror reason version, but in her same timeline version they're something she puts effort into, like a lot of hair product

Like I have a DnD campaign tomorrow for characters I'm obsessed with, I just found out that Markiplier was supposed to be in the FNaF movie but couldn't because he was filming Iron Lung, Eddsworld continues to terrify me with the fact it's been like TWO YEARS NOW STRAIGHT that it's been my main focus, and I JUST SAW DOBYTHEALPACA THROW ME BACK INTO MY LUPIN III HYPERFIXATION WITH THAT FUCKING AU

Not to mention in the background of all that I'm working on a Video Essay script (not about Markiplier) about a show I loathe and fear to bring up for what may happen to me evoking the wrath of that fandom, have just finished Adventure Time after I said "I'm not gonna get super into this show" (spoiler alert: I did), and am watching the newest season of Lego Ninjago: Dragons Rising

Yes, really. I’m not joking and I have three points:  1. I’m one inconsistent bitch with a brainrot;  2. I need my delusions and escapism cuz man do four blood-sucking dudes sound more in-reality than whatever the fuck is going on in the actual real world around me rn;  3. I forgot what was the third point. It’s all the more absurd given just in the summer of this year I was certain I wouldn’t come back to it any time soon. What can I say...life do be like that. A fun little story of its own, but I’ll leave it out of this post. For now, let me share with you what I’ve been planning, what’s staying and what’s changing and how I’ll be approaching this AU/blog this time around. 

So, to start off...

The 🅱️ has to go: 

While still set in Vampire the Masquerade (World of Darkness) universe, the renewed version of this crossover AU won’t have anything to do with Bloodlines video game. Don’t get me wrong, I love Bloodlines still very much, it’s the game with most of my replays and what got me into VtM in the first place. But also, it is restricting, trying to align everything with its small setting/scope and, let’s be honest, doesn’t make much of a sense. Eddsworld’s British, the hell are they all doing in America? XP 

The tag is now eddsworld vtm au, without the letter b. 

What else gets thrown out? 

Plot: Pretty much all of it. I came up with the biggest plot points and am currently rewriting the entire script. At its core it’s still “four dudes tolerate each other’s shenanigans to survive and later learn they kinda don’t feel like chopping each other’s heads off (friendship goals)” but the rest...out the window it goes. 

Setting: As I said earlier, it’s weird. So with the help of Fall of London V5 book and some other sources of info on London in VtM, I moved the cast back to where they belong. 

Characters and character writing: This one might surprise you, but I really, REALLY don’t like the way I did them back then. I can’t revisit old comics/the demo without cringing so hard my face breaks XD Fishmalk Edd gives me most pain if I’m being honest...

While I’m keeping the basest, the basiesest core (Edd being chaotic bastard Malkavian, Tom being mean and cynical Nosf, Matt being old-fashioned but also a rebel at heart Torrie, and Tord being far less infected with rabies compared to other modern Brujah) I’m changing lots of their characterization, backstories and relationships with each other as well. So don’t expect something you expected from their older versions.

The same goes for every other character, and I’m getting rid of some that don’t serve much purpose anymore.  

What’s in store? 

New script is in the process. And while it is slowly processing, I will be updating most pages on this blog: specifically “About” and “Characters”, with new relevant information and art. I have archived everything these pages contained, and I’ll put the link to the Google Drive folder up in the “About” page for anyone who wishes to look at the old stuff. I won’t be deleting any of the older posts on the blog though.

Update schedule?

Can’t promise one. Life’s hectic now as hectic can possibly get. I will update once there is an update, but please try to be considerate and don’t ask me “when”. I will most likely go on hiatuses from time to time but I will try to warn in advance if it’s going to take long. Overall, this passion project is just that, a passion project. Not my job. Not something that gives me anything but mental satisfaction. Not even a tip jar. I’m working alone, with occasional help from friends who are kind enough to proof read and brainstorm with me (Nina, Jazz, Engi, Hawa, long live you beautiful human beings). So all I’m asking is some compassion and understanding from all of you u_u If you can do it for me I’m sure it’ll take me longer to lose interest this time XD  Ask box stays closed for now, I’ll reopen it once I’ll update all the pages.

1. In this universe can Annya and Tbatf Tord have relationships and can they have kid?

2. How does tbatf Tord feel about Annya? Does he love her or not?

3. What kind of relationship does Annya have with other soldiers?

4. How would Annya react when she sees Tord with the girls at the Gala from the chapter 7? Will she cry and be jealous or not?

5. How would tbatf Tord react to her pregnancy?

6. Will he act like Tord from your au?

7. How will tbatf Tord behave in case of Annya's death?

8. Will his methods of raising Tobi be the same as Tord from your au?

And can i have a art with tbatf Tord and Annya 🥺?

That's all...

Well to start off with, while Anya or the base background character I used IS canon to that universe, my characterization of her isn't.

I did draw art of her n the other girls within that universe, but they don't have anything to really do with the main cast.

In that world, Anya doesn't have any interactions with Tord outside of her job, and odds are she's too busy just trying to adjust to living there to bother with much else.

Anya doesn't have any relationship with Paul or Pat, but I can see her getting along with other grunt soldiers, especially with Jenny n my other girls mainly.

Seeing as she has no interest in Tord, she had no strong feelings about the Gala, she couldn't really care less especially since she wasnt involved in the whole part outside of being security.

Even if they were in a relationship, I don't see that version of Tord caring about her very much. Next Gen Tord did genuinely love Anya at one point, but that was only after a decade together. In this version, they wouldn't have known each other long, so Anya would be less likely to put up with him having not been slowly conditioned to do so.

With her pregnancy involved, Anya would probably tell him, but seeing how things are going on, her baby would be much more important than him or his opinion, so Anya would tell Tord she was raising her baby alone, and didn't want him involved seeing as she probably wouldn't be able to trust him around a child.

Since the two aren't close let alone loving or really affectionate to eachother, I don't think Tord would have any strong feelings about her dying, and end up seeing Tobi as a burden, especially at that point in his life, but figuring he'd need an heir at some point.

The way he'd go about raising Tobi is probably a lot more detached that Next Gen Tord, who did try for the first 7 years but started to pull away at one point. In this world, Tobi would be raised by a nanny, with very limited contact with Tord himself, causing a much more drastic gap between the two.
