nothing annoys me more than when i make every fucking effort to watch a movie legally and either it's not on a single streaming service i pay for or it's somewhere weird like "max channels on prime" rather than just hbo max, or kanopy but not through MY library, so i fire up my vpn (legal) and check canada services (legal) and - yay! it's on plex! which definitely doesn't care about vpns since it's like bootleg adjacent anyway (not my problem). so i head over and it loads up great (legal) but vpns won't chromecast properly so it just freezes up and like yes in that case i am forced to use solarm*vies or t*rrent sorry fbi. i really tried! i really really tried!

#by contrast idk what ghibli did about boy and the heron but they locked that shit DOWN. impossible to find ANYWHERE including apple+#where i could have sworn it was streaming for a while? no longer apparently. cam versions only including every extral3g4l resource i have #and ykw? gotta respect that 🫡🫡🫡
