I feel like... there's smth about it. it's not all that good, bc the pose is a bit awkward, perspective is a nice attempt but a little off and I drew quickly without thinking, later couldn't fix it/was too lazy/had no time, but the colors, the shading... idk, I'm oddly a fan of it so I'm throwing it here.

see it as practice/warmup. I'll never get to smth better if I don't let myself fail a bunch of times first. don't be afraid of failing.

i've had some really stupidly large unexpected expenses this week so i might open quick sketch comms later today to try and make the money back asap........ nothing fancy or expensive, just quick sketches with minimal grey shading at most, stuff i can finish and deliver fast

I've begun my running journey recently, and I've been having a fun time! Slowly improving my endurance with each run, and I'm trying my best to be more consistent. So far my longest runs have still been 10ks, but I want to slowly increase my distance. I'm still very very slow and mainly do a lot of run/walk interval running, but I've been enjoying the process.

Three clients.

First client wastes weeks on trying to decide on which sketch they want me to move forward with because they have no clue whether their book is scifi or fantasy and they get nervous when the art reflects either of these genres. I have a week left to paint the final cover. They also need 20 chapter illustrations by the end of may.

Second client takes forever to respond and the author changes their mind all the time so the book I'm supposed to illustrate only exists as a synopsis. My deadline just got pushed. The wrong way. I now have two weeks rather than a month to paint the cover. They also need 15 chapter illustrations by the end of march.

Third client is great. So far.
