Image of the Week #6

This week's image is from an Argentinian 3D graphic artist named Andres Reisinger.

I knew upon seeing these that they weren't real pictures, the scale was too large and vague to be real. However, I had no idea that it was AI-generated until I looked into it.

Obviously, there's a big debate about whether AI-generated images can be considered art, and I do not have an answer. There's something to be said about the generation of these images and the ideas that may or may not have come from the artist and how drawn to them I was. I obviously love pink and the hazy, liminal vibes of these really do appeal to me.

I also love the fantastical elements of these when it comes to the structures. They're all made of "fabric" and have some skirt-like, circus-tent elements to them.

In conclusion: is it art? I have no clue. I like looking at it, but the artist does make NFTs so.... definitely not liking any of these pictures on Instagram.
