I am reading your post. Sorry for all the questions. I think I prefer they/he/she and I don’t mind people who use neopronouns. I guess I didn’t fully understand the reasons for those who would use it/it’s but that makes sense! And there are some religions with animinism that belief everything has a spirit, so if one feels connected to objects in nature or feels like they can understand or relate to rhose and robots more I think I can understand better. I am neurodivergent and find robots relatable. So I think I can understand more maybe. Sorry for all the questions. I forget the grumpy dude’s name who was ableist to Murderbot. I like the show so far. It reminds me of cyberpunk without all the neon lights and racism against Asian people. The corporate aspects like owning people and whole cities and societies and bodily autonomy I mean.

No need to apologise for all the questions! I think they're very natural. I also stumbled with it/its pronouns when I was first introduced, so I just shared some of the reasons I saw that resonated with me! (man, robots are relatable, huh?)

And yeah, in retrospect, I shouldn't have expected anyone to remember the name of a character after 2 episodes! Sorry about that, ha.

I'm glad you're enjoying the show thus far! The story is definitely heavily influenced by the cyberpunk genre (though we could quibble about whether it's a genuine entry in it, or in a different genre). From what I've seen of the trailers, I personally quite like the aesthetics the show's gone for.

If you're enjoying the show, I highly recommend reading the books. Most of them are novellas, so very quick reads, with amazing approachable prose. Action packed, heart-warming, and exceedingly funny.

İt's inspired by D/SMP, W/ild Kratts and few old Minecraft modes. Basically, a man named Anoubis decides to code Minecraft so him and his friends can shape-shift to their favorite animals and mobs while playing in a private server. The server is called Animine, or Animal Minecraft, as a dig to anime. Before they enter to server, all players can only choose 1 mob/animal to have. However, they can have 3 forms: Full human form, full mob/animal form and the combination of mob/animal and human form.

As an example, Anoubis' animal is falcon. Therefore during the entire gameplay, he can choose to stay in their human form, fully turn into a falcon or only have the wings and legs of a falcon while keeping the human form/only have the arms of a human while keeping the falcon form.

I've literally made 13 of these fuckers, Anoubis included, and ooh boy I'm already loving them

((OH THAT SOUNDS FUN! I don't know enough of Minecraft to know what mobs and stuff are in there. All I know are the common ones like chickens, pigs, creepers, zombies, those types of things...

Though having a choice of three forms is neat! Like they can be human, animal, or a splice between the two! MAKING OCS IS A LOT OF FUN!
