For Childe, charming others is never a hard task. He prefers to solve things by force primarily of course, but you, a little clerk at the northland bank is a different matter compared to those other dull responsibilities.

Compared to your colleagues, who would fangirl over him whenever he walks into the room, your professional attitude is refreshing...somehow. You are efficient at what you do, can’t complain about that.

Whenever he dines with Zhongli, Childe would bring you along. So he could focus on the talk, while you took care of the monetary affairs (fetching mora to pay for example).

It didn’t take long for the Harbinger to notice how you would relax, and look at the dark-hair men with fondness whenever he is present. How you seem to get a little excited every time you spot him, how your lips curl upwards into a genuine smile. He even managed to make you flustered once by tricking you into thinking Zhongli is behind you.

“Master Childe, are we paying Mr.Zhongli a visit today?” That tone, it’s way too ethustatic. What happened to your professional attitude? Your back was facing him as you were counting some records, so you missed that dangerous glare in his eyes.

So, that’s your type huh? Refined gentlemen who speak like an old librarian? Are you still swooning over Zhongli after witnessing that ridiculous spending habits? You really don’t know better.

No matter, he will get what he wants, by whatever means he deem necessary . You are on the list as well, and Childe will check the items one by one. Childe does love a challenge after all.

Wonderful anon, this was great!!! I love all of your concepts. They’re always so good. <3 I especially love the relationship between Childe and the reader. It’s strictly business: all professional and strict. It’s only until you catch Zhongli’s name on his tongue do you begin to show your true personality. The puppy-like excitement that has you asking Childe when you’ll be meeting with him again is cute, if not misplaced. Childe thinks you should show him that same type of eagerness whenever he drops by the Northland Bank to check in. You might have a thing for Zhongli, but he’s certain he can win you over with his own determined attempts. After all, he fancies a good challenge that requires him to fight tooth and nail for a victory. 

I was thinking about this concept and a thought came to me. What if you end up meeting Xiao through Zhongli somehow? You happen to be accompanying Childe once again when he meets with Zhongli for dinner, but this time he’s managed to drag an antisocial guest with him. You don’t mind Xiao or his grumpy attitude, preferring to internally swoon over Zhongli. But Xiao certainly notices the way Childe is so touchy with you. He wouldn’t have thought anything of it, considering you’re just another mortal, but there’s something about you that has him interested. He can’t figure out what it is, but there’s definitely a feeling there. 

Maybe he finds you to be an intriguing person for whatever reason he comes up with and so it definitely sours his mood whenever Childe slyly flirts with you. He learns really quickly that your interest lies in Zhongli, which is made clear by the way you pay close attention to everything he says. Xiao supposes that’s fine, but something’s itching at him. He’s just not sure what it is. 

Anyways, I was thinking about a subtle yan!Xiao? Or maybe he’s not yan but just really protective because he doesn’t like Childe all that much. Ah, I’m not sure if it fits into the concept, though! ^^;
