Are there any actual good goldfinch fics. Cause so far i have read one that is actually good. And also remember reading a few back in 2019 but idk where those are now and like ive just been going through the tag and well that has been horrible its really bad out there its traumatizing almost. Found that one gem and then like a few cheap plastic ones but they were fine. This isnt the usual way i find fics i never go through a ship tag like this that way i get all this garbage filtered away, theres so many ways to find tk fics, i have more fics bookmarked and waiting than i will ever read. but for tgf i dont know or have any channels to find except ao3s tag system. Also that one good fic was by anonymous. Yeah. i am really sad about that because i cant read any more fics by this author. Also its not just a problem of finding good fics, ive been so spoiled by all these brilliant tk authors just as a result of sheer density i guess but im not sure good tgf fics like…exist? Ppl in this fandom seem to be either stranger things fans who joined for finn wolfhard or a certain breed i can not name for i shall be deemed a bigot and very offensive. I dont care though i just dont want to bring it up and tarnish the name of my beloved novel and its characters. People writing fics for this book but that are not worthy. Fandom people. Onlineness. Youngsters, possibly. I need sophisticated fanfiction for this ship and maybe also in general at this age i’m not sure. But also people who can write fic at all hello immerse me in the experience please? Seriously to go from like one of the biggest ships ever to this tiny dead 1 book fandom ship is like such a bummer. But i cant read taekook rn cause i have issues✌️also i only want to read fics with the adult versions of the characters cause i am adult so. that reduces like the majority of fics too i feel, i guess because of the grip vegas chapters has on this fandom. i love them too but i only want them written with the pen of donna tartt. and also i dont want to read fics about it because i am not a pedophile
