Was watching a YouTube video and the guy was ranting about how shit the girls toys in happy meals were in the early 2000's (there was context I swear but saying it was about iCarly doesn't make it less out of place) and he was like "how did girls deal these toys suck"

My good bitch I simply very adamantly told my parents I wanted the boys toy, which was always something ACTUALLY cool and not something pink, purple, and boring. Sometimes cashiers had the gall to ask if I was sure I wanted hot wheels over a fucking toy barbie brush that'll do shit all and shouldn't have been considered a toy. Child me had rage about boys getting toys and girls getting... Well, nothing fun and no colors outside pink and purple. Toy brands STILL haven't figured out boys like pink and purple and girls like colors that aren't pink and purple.
