i will never understand why the uncharted movie decided that sully meeting 15 yr old street urchin nate and going “well i have a child now and must risk my life and betray the powerful violent people who employ me to protect him” was not a good enough backstory
#a man meeting a child and being like well i guess i’m a dad now is always what i want to see why take it away#at least the station eleven miniseries adding that plotline for jeevan and kirsten makes it a net zero change in accidental fatherhood#in adaptations of things i love#anyway it could have just been the backstory of how chloe and nate met which would have been good#and left nate and sully’s meeting untouched with accidental fatherhood intact
