oh there's a new retelling of romeo and juliet where romeo is a pedophile. that's lovely. begins to tear flesh
#before people publish any r&j retellings they should have to get my approval first. lorelai's also actually#ALSO i started reading that book where romeo is gay and it's. well. Hm. It Could Be Worse#but they've also mischaracterized my boy benvolio beyond recognition#also they've decided to make valentine romeo's love interest which just makes it hard for me to get invested tbh ??#since he's hardly a character in the original. maybe it'll get better as he gets more screen time but ehhh#anyway why does everyone have the most deranged takes on r&j shut up forever#.txt
