Am attempting to apply to anthro grad school and why does anthro make me feel dumb :’)
#i don't know enough theory i feel very stupid#like i know what the theory is and i know the fun little ideas that make my brain go brrr#but i either don't know where they actually came from or i feel like an idiot when discussing them#i just haven't taken enough anthro proper to write a rigorous anthro proposal and aaaaaaaaa#but i want to do this so much writing this is making me miss academia so much#anyways anyone have any formative anthro texts to recommend me??#have read geertz and silverstein and that's like. that's it#the thing about this is i'd be really good at if i spent a bit of time learning how to do the writing properly and all#like if i'd studied anthro in undergrad#but now i don't really know what i'm doing and i have less than a month to figure it out :')))))#anyways don't mind me i'm just having a mild crisis#perce rambles
